I feel silly asking this but before last year I never went to the doctor except for my annual or new glasses.
Anyways I realized this evening I missed my appointment today to have my Mirena placement checked. Totally flaked. What do I do? Call tomorrow and reschedule? Will they be mad? Do I still have to pay for the missed appointment? I feel like an idiot but in 27 years I've never missed a drs visit! I also feel bad because our OBGYN office is super in-demand so missing my appointment means some other lady could have had my spot and missed out. Ughhh.
I'd call tomorrow, apologize and ask what their policy is on missed appointments
A lot of doctors' offices will make you pay but others won't. I think just calling and apologizing could go a long way in getting the fee waived if there is one. Usually most places allow you one mistake.

Yes definitely call and reschedule. Apologize and ask about the fee situation. It can really vary - I've had doctors who give you one pass, others who make you pay.

Lol, thanks ladies. I'm glad to see I was over-thinking it. I got busy at work yesterday and then LO wouldn't let me go all night so I never logged back on. eyenigh, they ended up calling me and we rescheduled, no biggie and no fee. I guess they're calling it their fault because the girl who does reminders has been out so I didn't get my phone call? Whatever, I'll take it!
