This check-in is intended for those whose loss history, possibly combined with IF, makes TTC challenging. While those with recurrent losses are especially encouraged to join, IF women plus any losses are welcome. For members who get a BFP, you are welcome to stay here until you feel comfortable transitioning. Please do continue to use the usual warnings.
For a list of Recurrent Loss programs and testing information see this google doc. We can continue to build this document and include other useful sources of information.
Hi, not much new with me at all... will likely get my period again in a few days. Congrats, ProfessorChaos, I am sorry I am just now catching up on your news.
Me: 36 (Hashimoto's), DH: 35 (Robertsonian 13;14 translocation) ***Losses & LC mentioned*** Blighted ovum 9/13/13, CPs 1/4/14, 01/10/16 DD, born on 10/11/2014 TTC #2 since January 2016 Natural cycles until all is ready for IVF with PGD (time TBD)
My Estrace doubled on Thursday, and I'm impatiently waiting for me lining check on Wednesday. Hopefully all looks good and we'll be on track for a 6/1 transfer.
QOTW: I'm really sad. Everything feels so up in the air, and I'm worried about losing touch with people.
So read some of the drama not all of it, it seems so high schoolish to me. I'm approaching mid 30s, I don't have time for this crap esp. when it's on the internet behind screen names lol I'm just like whatever and hope it all blows over. I hope we can stay here but I will go with you guys if you set up shop elsewhere. I stay in this check-in and DOR check-in. We are so chill and drama free
twohopes , welcome back Feel like we haven't seen you in a little bit or my memory is terrible
birch113 , whoa 6/1 is coming up! Hope this is the one!
AFM, waiting on my meds and supplies. Should start cycling this Friday. Going to go with microflare lupron and told doc if anything looks suspicious, I am backing out. The clinic freaking couldn't order the new meds which pissed me off because it's my new clinic. I got so mad on the phone that they had the doctor call me to smooth things out. So definitely some red flags, explained my concerns, but at the same time he is doctor willing to be innovative. I hope this is the right decision.
TTC #2: IVF #2 (Lupron), BFN, No frosties IVF #3 (Ganirelix), BFN, 2 frosties FET #1: BFP, EDD 8-31-17, MC 1-3-2017 Goodbye little one FET #2...BFN IVF #4: Seeking second opinions
ProfessorChaos, thanks for the check in. Hope all is still going well.
birch113, 6/1 is so close. I hope your lining cooperates.
dp21, GL with the new protocol. I hope it works well for you.
happyin14, That's frustrating the results couldn't give you answers.
I had my baseline u/s and b/w. All looks good so I'm starting stims tomorrow!
I don't even know what to make of all of this. It makes me sad because this is such a great community that feels all in disarray now. I hope we can find a place where everyone feels comfortable, whether it is staying here or moving somewhere else. I don't want to lose anyone!

bananas22 , yay, that's so exciting!!! FX for you!
happyin14 , what was the reason you were thinking about Lovenox? I was on it for this cycle, and it may have caused problems for me (I'll put that below in spoilers). I hope the hematologist can give you answers.
dp21 , ugh, it's so stressful when a clinic messes up med orders. There was one god-awful IVF coordinator that completely failed to order one of my meds in time. Fortunately I had a local friend from whom I could borrow meds, otherwise the cycle would have been ruined halfway through. I nearly lost it. I hope they clean up their act for you!
For anyone who wants to know what's up with me, it's here. ***Warnings***
I'm 7+4 but I'm still dealing with a large-ish SCH. It may have been caused by the Lovenox, which apparently increases the chances. I stopped it, and the SCH appeared to be going away last week, but it was back yesterday. Trying to take it as easy as I can, which is hard in my situation, but I'm worried both about loss and long-term complications if this doesn't go away. I also don't know where I'm supposed to be posting in the midst of all this chaos. I think Naria has gotten unfairly vilified, but I value the relationships here more than any particularly hosting site. I just want things to settle back down so we can all give and receive the support we come here for.
ProfessorChaos, thanks for that. Basically, I've had 3 losses in a row and they don't know why. Seven pregnancies altogether. And there's new research saying treat with Lovenox at this point. Plus one of my enzymes is elevated - but not enough to put her finger on that.
I'm hoping the hematologist has a stronger feeling in one direction or another because now it feels like I'm diagnosing myself instead of a doctor and that sounds like a horrible idea.
Also - I'm really sorry for your stress. It's the worst.... Fingers crossed the SCH resolves.
And I have no clue if Naria has been vilified or not because it has nothing to do with me. I do know I'm not going to the new place and I'm appalled at the McBunny (or whatever it is) rant. And I'm rarely one to get offended by comments. But I'm firmly NOT on that team.
ProfessorChaos, I'm so sorry that the SCH is still there. I hate those things so much. Usually they disappear by the second tri tho and don't cause issues except for bleeding. I hope yours is gone soon.
