I took your advice bootsorhearts, about pushing back with my MFM. She wants a cervical length check every two weeks and confirmed that she wanted another one next week but my office has no sono appts available. That means they'll send me to the hospital, which is a pain the ass. Last week my cervix was super long and my AS at the hospital is on 6/15. She told me at the appt she wanted a baseline cervix length before the AS. She got it that day. I just told them nope nope nope. If she has problems with me saying no, then have her call me.

littleowl913, I think it's the MFMs due diligence to take all precautions. Because of my fibroids, being AMA, long sordid history of IF, the MFM that did the NT scan and NIPT wanted me to come in every 4 weeks for growth checks which would have been fine except a total PITA to get to the hospital for me too on top of my monthly OB appt and hers, I would be having appts. every 2 weeks. Ain't nobody got that kind of time. My OB on the other hand said it wasn't necessary unless of course I wanted to. She said she really wasn't terribly concerned since I had no complications with DS and planning on doing growth checks every month until 30 wks then bi-monthly until go time. I trust my OB so am comfortable with her advice.

After they go to bed. Once they go down I make myself clean up but once things are tidy I'm horizontal for the rest of the night reading or watching good TV. Besides the nights I see friends, I have no hobbies.

I'm similar news I woke up to people having made cardinal mistakes that I have to smooth over. I'm so tired of other people messing up and I have to be the spokesperson. It's part of my job but it's my least favorite part.
