I haven't posted here in a long time. I am definitely someone who reads more than posts although I am trying to be more engaged.
After talking to a friend, she mentioned Pregnitude. Has anyone used this or know anyone who has used this? Any comments or reviews?
Hi! You should ask this on GKU. Most people on this forum are beyond trying supplements (although if someone tried this they can weigh in, but it's not likely to be a success story). You've also caught us at kinda a weird time.
I hadn't heard of this brand, but it looks like it's folic acid plus myo inositol. Folic acid is very important, and myo inositol is one of the supplements my RE had me start taking. I'll say though that this brand looks way more expensive than what I was able to find.
I am beyond trying supplements as well but can't afford fertility treatments again until 2018 (insurance issues). I haven't heard of this before but thought it might be beneficial to do in the meantime.
I didn't realize this was a weird time in this board since I haven't been active. Sorry! Hope it all works itself out...
From what my RE said, the myo inositol can help and definitely wouldn't hurt in my case. I don't know your diagnosis, you might want to ask your doctor before trying it. And, like I said, this brand is way more expensive than what I got. I have the Pure Encapsulations brand, which is available on Amazon.

Hi! I'm not taking Pregnitude, but I am taking myo-inositol. This is my first cycle on it, but I haven't noticed any side effects so far.
Why are you thinking that Pregnitude will help you? Have you been trying for a year or more (or at least 6 months if over 35)? Do you have an infertility diagnosis?
Saw RE 1/11/17 HSG x 2 - 2nd revealed both tubes open and arcuate uterus Cycle #1-2 Femara 5mg + TI = Cancelled - poor response Cycle #3 - Femara 7.5mg and Dex 0.5mg - another poor response - waiting to see when I O
I have pcos and have been trying for almost 3 years. I'm on metformin currently. Last year I did about 6 Medicated cycles (tried clomid and femara, as well as follistim with trigger shots). My husband and I both switched jobs and insurance companies recently. My new plan will cover some treatments, whereas the others didn't. But we agreed not to do IUI until spring of 2018.
On metformin, my cycles are shorter. They used to be anywhere from 80-120 days (no ovulation) and now they are between 38-48 and ovulation is occurring. It appears I continued ovulating ever since I ended my medicated cycles I was just thinking maybe the Pregnitude might make ovulation come a little bit sooner and therefore shorten my cycles.

I took pregnatude for a couple of cycles, for PCOS reasons as well as egg quality. I noticed no difference for me except it is super expensive. You can get tubs of myo-insotol for cheaper and have the same ingredients. I ended up purchasing the myo-insotol through Amazon but I am sure other places may be even cheaper.
Myo-inositol is best for people who have pcos. It's not a good supplement for poor responders who are gearing up for IVF. It could blunt your response.

My RE never mentioned it. I'll be switching to a different RE when we start treatments again next spring. I'll look into the cheaper alternatives. Thanks!
