Before getting pregnant this time I had started running hoping to participate in some races with H. He runs half marathons on a regular basis. I was just about to do my first 5k when I got a stress fracture and had to take a couple weeks off, and during that time is when I found out I was pregnant with S2. I walked on a regular basis while pregnant but no running.
I'm hoping to start running again after getting cleared at my 6 week pp visit. Not sure yet how I will make that work since I don't think the jogging strollers are recommended until 6 months (at least that's what pedi said with S1). But hopefully H and I can work out a schedule until we are able to train together

I walked during pregnancy but didn't lift weights or use the elliptical so I'm looking forward to getting back to that. I also did prenatal yoga at the hospital but I am looking forward to returning to my regular yoga class and instructor.
Golf and running! I used to be a competitive golfer and played daily. I have ran two halves and want to run a full someday. Both of these things are likely in the distant future at this point, aside from recreational playing or running.
Everyone here is so active, my hobbies are much more sedentary. I love to read and sew but haven't had the time or energy to do much of either lately, so hopefully I can get back to those come fall.
I was going to say my favorite hobby that I miss is going to breweries and wineries with friends Well, I can still go but it's not as much fun when you're pregnant!
We also used to go to tons of baseball games...like one every home series. I'm sure we will go to a few more this summer, we went to a ton when DD1 was a baby. But I don't want to sit in a stadium seat in this heat at 40 weeks pregnant. Ha
bewise you reminded me that we love to go to football games and the CFL season starts this week. We only got to one game the year DS1 was born because he refused to take a bottle, so hopefully DS2 is more cooperative and we can go more this year.
Running.. I ran a lot before I got pregnant with C. I never really got back into it after he was born. But I'm dying to get back into it. DH and I used to hike a lot too, hopefully we can get back into that once I'm cleared from my OB and I can comfortably wear P. (DH will wear C.) I also miss reading. Like most have already said, I'm just too sleepy to actually concentrate on a book.
I'm a runner too but have foot problems (a bunion) that have gotten worse over time. The last half marathon I did caused the whole right side of my body to be thrown off for a couple weeks, so I've decided to stick to shorter runs for the past couple years. I will admit to light jogging with babies in jogging strollers pre six months when they are in the carseat with head support.
I did crossfit for the past couple years before quitting in August when we started TTC. I haven't decided whether I'll go back to that. But some kind of strenuous exercise is definitely something I'm looking forward to! I really love doing step classes with the older ladies at our YMCA too
Travel is something I'm excited to start doing again. We did lots of fun trips recently since we knew we wanted to have another baby around now and knew travel would get a lot tougher. I've spent this afternoon trying to convince DH to let me plan our next trip.
sdlaura, I did some light running with C before he was 6 months as well. I did ask his pediatrician if it would be ok, and he said yes. Like you said, C was still in his car seat with head support.

I was wondering if using the carseat attached to the jogging stroller would be different. That's good to know.
sdlaura - Also looking forward to travel! Sadly H only gets a week each quarter, but we're already trying to figure out where to go in February or March with a 7/8-month-old.

This is me. I actually got DH a gift card for a new brewery for Father's Day. We also have Redsox tickets in a few weeks.
Now, to find someone to watch both kiddos. It will have to be my parents
Trillium (the one in canton). My friend just moved really close to that one and she said it's really fun. I'm excited to pick a day to go... although I'll probably be DD because it was a Father's Day gift

Nice! DH went there with a friend when I had my shower. I haven't been there but have been to Castle Island in Norwood and Blue Hills in Canton.
I started doing the couch to 5k app before this kid. And I walked my first 5k last summer too. I wanted to run it but I ran the 1 mile fun run with my then 4 and 5yo. They're much faster than me so I hurt my hip flexor trying to keep up.
We've opted not to go up north this summer, so I'm sad I'll miss boating and tubing this year
