Great question I'm looking for ideas for this too... So far I've done bouncy seat, singing to hear while she leans on her boopy and trying to quick and pump before she wakes up. But ultimately, if she wants to scream she's gonna scream. This is why I've struggled to put a stash together. welcome back! Glad your phone stopped messing w you ?

I only pump every night for the last feeding. My husband gives him a previously pumped bottle and I pump a new bottle if we need it and then any extra goes into my freezer stash. This is why I was really worried about that post earlier. If I had to throw away partially eaten bottles, I wouldn't get hardly any stash built up at all.
I also pump after the first morning feeding. I put LO in her swing, and she is usually content to hang out there for a bit. Sometimes she falls asleep, other times she fusses and I sing to her until I'm done. We have mixed results with whether that helps
The swing is my LO's kryptonite, so when I pumped at home (I only pump on the way to and at work now) I would put him in there and he would always just hang out and watch the little mobile.

I only pump after his first morning feeding (usually between 7-8am). He nurses one side, then I pump the other side. He is either asleep again in his rnp or awake laying on the floor in front of me...this serves as his tummy time because big sisters aren't up yet to step on him! The floor is only a safe place for him at rare intervals during the day, lol...
I almost EP, so I've had more practice entertaining LO when I pump than I would have liked. Bouncy seat, swing, and play mat are all good starting points. I always "set up camp" wherever we start out: books, a few toys, my phone for music, and a backup (ex: if starting on playmat, do it next to swing or have bouncy seat next to mat) in case LO gets fussy. A hands free pumping bra is an absolute must, and an extension cord for your pump! GL!

I pump right after LO eats so she is happy. We use the bouncer or rock and play. I will sing/play toddler tunes to keep her as happy as possible. Sometimes she starts to scream and I try to keep her as happy.
I do all of the above and some times I use a manual pump if I am just pumping the other side after a morning feed for stash purposes. I get great output and it's easy to sit it down if you need to in order to tend to baby.

Bounce on my lap (pumping bra), or lay or prop up beside me on couch, interacting all the while. Mine would never sit for 20 minutes in her Mamaroo while I pump.

My LO has been sleeping for longer stretches so I have been getting up with DH at 6AM and pumping then. LO is still asleep and I get a good couple of ounces. I work from home with LO so I am only pumping to keep/build supply as he's sleeping longer (per my mom the LC's recommendation) and to have a bottle or 2 in the fridge as a just in case. I will sometimes pump around 1 or 2 AM if he sleeps through that feeding too or if he just snacks.
I'm EPing also and was wondering the same thing. I try and pump when he's sleeping as much as possible but sometimes we get off schedule and that doesn't make sense. I also try when he's laying on the floor after a diaper change which he is usually really happy about. When desperate I either put him in the rnp and semi aggressively rock him which calms him or I put him on my lap sitting up facing out between my boobs. This is awkward and only kinda works since I have huge boobs but it works in a pinch.
I also EP and the struggle is real. I pump right after feeding him almost every time, and I'm lucky that he is usually pretty sleepy after a bottle and will typically nap in his swing without excessive complaint. However there have been a handful of times where I've wound up pumping while trying desperately to hold a paci in his mouth, or get him interested in the swing's toy bar, and several times when I've pretty much just miserably bounced and awkwardly held a screaming baby for 20 minutes. Boo. I'm thinking I will start feeding him his bottle while I pump and see how terribly awkward that might be.

I didn't really get the swing until my supply really took a dive. But they are wonderful! I pumped whenever I could find the time between a two year old and the baby. Op, do you have a pump bra? They help alot actually.
