Morning. In laws just left and I didn't sleep great last night, so it's a slow quiet morning so far. I think we will head to the local community farm today. It will be the first time for the season! I have tried to go since it opened on the 2nd but something always happens.
OB appointment this morning & then maybe grocery shopping. We’ve decided to go to Texas this weekend, and if I go to the beach the weekend after that it leaves me with one weekend home between now and the baby sprinkle that’s supposed to be at my house. Oops.

Been sitting at my desk without actually doing anything productive for about 2 hours now. We moved one of our drop cams so I can check on our dog Lily since its her first day alone and I've basically just been watching her all morning. Thankfully she's mostly been sleeping and doesn't appear distressed at all.
We rented Paddington 2 last night because I had read that it was good and we actually all enjoyed it, but I'm not sure it would have much re-watch value for E. She was really into the first one for a while so I guess we'll see if she asks to watch the bear again. I'd recommend it though if you're looking for a movie the whole family will want to watch together.

Work was a nightmare last week. This week I'm trying to cram 5 days of work into 3. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off. Friday to camp and Thursday for myself. The teachers are on strike here so if they're still striking on Thursday I'll probably go to one of the rallies (bonus meet up with friends I haven't seen in years).
Had my sisters and nieces over to swim yesterday. Running around with his cousins wore DS out. He practically put himself to bed.
H is leaving tonight for a business trip. I always plan to do so much while he's gone and just pass out when I get downstairs for bed. I'll probably do the same the next 3 nights.
Today was usual Monday shopping. Then after lunch we got to go on a walk (my requirement before stoping at the park) and to the park. I learned two things: A still needs a stroller bc she can't keep up and was in tears about not getting to the park faster. And also, she needs more substantial shoes at said park bc she kept flipping out about pieces of the wood chips getting into her crocs...
Then you think they'd be worn out but then they wanted to play Hullabaloo and were running around the family room. Shrugs. Resting tonight because they've had this cough in the mornings that I don't like the sound of.
Looooong day. I had a girls weekend away this last weekend. A friend and i drive to visit another friend. It was almost 5 hours to get there. Exhausting! It was hard to get three people to agree on anything. We were eating so late and it made me sick more than anything. Who the hell eats dinner at 10?!
Dh was a real trooper managing the kiddos all weekend alone. Then my ils said they wanted to come to dinner tonight. Short notice but it worked out since I was trying a new Pinterest recipe that seemed easy but was way more complicated and took a lot of time. It was good that the kids were being entertained.
