Apparently G woke up determined to push all of my buttons today. Whew. Thank goodness it’s rest time. He’s currently rearranging the furniture he can move in his room (ottoman, pillows, etc) but my only rest time rule is that he stay in his room so it’s still a win.
It is HOT here today & I am so excited for swimming weather soon.
We just got home from the zoo. We decided to buy memberships so I guess we'll be going more often. V loved it, and A was actually interested in some of the exhibits that were on his level.
We also went out to lunch with my brother, who I don't get to see often. And I've got a girls night with my mom and sister apparently, so it's turning out to be a fun day.
What I thought was allergies yesterday has turned out to be a full blown cold, probably made worse by allergies. Between J just not nursing as much and me taking decongestants I think this may be the end of bfing. She’ll be one in two weeks!
Landscaper just showed up with construction equipment so it looks like they’re getting started on spreading the dump truck loads of top soil that have been piled in our back yard for days.
My mom is coming over to help organize and unpack the nursery.
Today it's raining on and off so we are staying in. I have chicken in the slow cooker. Smells good! H and I (mostly me but he's on board) are seriously considering buying a resale Disney Vacation Club membership. So I'm currently going down that rabbit hole on the internet. 😁 I'm also attempting to make a Mickey Mouse shaped wreath to display our magic bands from previous (and planned) WDW trips. I can post pics when I'm done if it turns out! I saw a really cute wood custome one on etsy but it would be about $45. If this works it will have cost me $3.
Tonight we are all going to home depot to look into some things for a few house projects 🤞 Lately we've been saving a lot of money on doing things ourselves that we would have most likely hired people to do. DH recently successfully restained our deck and is looking into doing our fence. But that would probably require a sprayer due to the nature of the fence. A sprayer would be cheaper than hiring (for a one time application, no less). We are so #adulting
Hola! First tornado warning of the season last night 😱. Not sure I am cut out for this. Made it to the children's museum today which was nice. Solo bed and bath time tonight with is always fun. H will be home but on a conference call in the office next to he bedrooms so that will be fun but ahh well.

aggiebug I remember waking up to those warnings a few times during the brief period I lived in Cincinnati, definitely nerve-racking, especially when they wake you up in the middle of the night. Hope those are rare for you.
dmorgendorffer & dreemkin- doing a celestial/Star/galaxy theme for the nursery, in theory. Haven’t actually done anything other than start a Pinterest board cause SILs are throwing a sprinkle for me at the end of this month, and last time almost all the party decor doubled as nursery decor. But we did get some clothes sorted & the furniture arranged yesterday! Of course can’t find the newborn or 0-3mo clothes...
seamonster when you guys go camping is it in a trailer or tent camping? Where does your LO sleep?
We have a vintage trailer. It can sleep 6 (if needed). H and I sleep on the folded out couch and DS sleeps where the table converts to a bed. We put some long Ikea pillows under the sheet to form a barricade to keep DS from rolling off (kid likes to sleep on the edge of beds). He sometimes ends up using them as a pillow.
