Pretty typical day. Got my hair cut this morning. G wanted to go get his bicycle from the ILs, so we did that & ended up staying for about an hour just hanging out in the back yard. G is going through some intensely cranky spell for some reason. He does pretty well if we're at home, and he can go find some space and rage it out for a bit before returning to whatever we were trying to do, but it's harder if there are other people around or we're not at home. FX it passes quickly.
Kind of a cranky day here. I'm with ya G (lilyelayne). Plans got cancelled last minute (like-we-were-in-the-car last minute), and then some other aggravating things. At least I got the guest bedroom ready for this weekend; we are having friends visit.
I called my pedi office today. A has been coughing at night. I've been waking up at least once a night for 2-3 weeks to tend to her. A few times she's "thrown up" from coughing so hard. But it seems to only be at night. I think it might be allergies that are aggravated from laying down even though we have her propped up (but you know how 3yos sleep). Everyone's allergies kicked in here around the same time from trees and pollen. They had me try a few things for congestion but I don't have high hopes of them helping. We shall see. Anyway, sometimes I can't fall back asleep easily so I'm tired!
kartish that's scary. I'm glad A is okay. Tail bone injuries are sooo painful. I had one once and I couldn't even walk up stairs or get on beds easily. I'm pretty sure it was broken if that's possible but my parents didn't take me to the doctor. Hope your H feels better soon.
lilyelayne thanks! We are trying a vaporizer tonight. And Vicks vapor rub. FX! I washed her quilt and Ruff Ruff today in case we needed them again tonight. Good thing we have back ups; especially of Ruff Ruff!! The old style of taggies dog FTW
dreemkin I heard a recommendation to use nasal saline spray every time you come inside from playing outside to help wash out the pollen instead of letting the body deal with it on its own. No idea if it helps at all, though.
