At work today and there is a lot on my plate. I'm terrible at prioritizing sometimes (or maybe most times) and I put off important stuff in lieu of interesting stuff. And now I have to pay the piper. Sigh. Time to put in my headphones and concentrate.
DH is home today with the boys. He was pretty miserable last night, hopefully they don't run him ragged today.
lilyelayne hope G is in a better mood today. V has had his mood swings lately as well. Not fun.
dreemkin hope you have a better day today as well!
lilyelayne that last month and a half is tough! Especially with a toddler and in the heat. I hope you find some energy and that G is in a better mood today.
kartish that is always a bummer! I hotyou can grind through it quick. Sorry H is still so miserable poor guy I hope the kids are nice to him today.
Praise the Lord S is taking a nap today. It's been a rough few days skipping naps and today she cried from 11-12:30 when I finally forced her to go to her room and lay down. Scratch that she cried another 15 minutes as she fought falling asleep. . Ahh toddlers. Today is getting things clean and organized so I can pack day. I need to get most of the packing done today so I have time to drop the dog off at the kennel as well as maybe get the kids outside for a bit before we spend all day in the car.

A friend came over to see the new house today, and she brought lunch. And it is FIL’s birthday so out to eat for supper. No meal obligations for me today, woohoo.
Today we had lunch with grandma and grandpa and then went to a cool park. The town I grew up in is known for Lilacs and they have a whole park dedicated to many many varieties of wonderful lilacs. One of my favorite flowers/tress/shrubs and smells! I was in heaven! One thing I know about lilacs is that they have to have a hard frost to bloom so I'm thankful to live in a cold weather state for that reason alone haha. Here are a few pics of today to share with you
dreemkin love the photos! I have a lilac bush in the front and this year it was so fragrant and plentiful with blooms. I was in heaven; sadly they've all gone now.
My boss derailed my day shortly after I posted with a project, then he derailed it further announcing he had put in his notice and is leaving the company in six weeks. The rest of the day was meetings after that.
I'm happy for him, it's a great opportunity and a awesome move for him personally. But I'm also bummed cause he is a great boss and I'll miss him. And I'm nervous about getting a new boss. Right now work is so flexible and easygoing, I'd hate for that to change.

I'm working from home today with a sick kiddo. He's been home since Tuesday when I had to pick him up an hour after drop off with a fever. He's got a stomach virus that only makes him puke in the evening (so glad it's not all day). Kindle time for him this morning so i could work and now he's napping. H stayed home yesterday and if he's still puking tonight will stay home with him tomorrow.
aggiebug how funny. My parents are in Door County at the moment! Have a nice trip! Watch out for those crazy Packer Fans 😉 (my Dad being one of them). They are at my favorite restaurant right now - Wild Tomato 🍅 kartish too bad you are losing a good boss...those are hard to find. seamonster get well vibes your kiddo's way. lilyelayne how exciting. Getting close to the end. Ultrasound now? Hope all is well!
Today we stayed home and I cleaned some of the house and did laundry. The girls also did some playing outside (and I get phone time while watching them). It was a beautiful day out. ☀️ Also, our caterpillars are all chrysalides so we are watching closely for emerging butterflies. One is looking close to it - the big boy! Should be this weekend or early next week.
Today I got my community garden plot at work. Now I'm just trying to decide what to plant. I also backed my car in to a ditch and had to get pulled out. Not much damage and it was over in 10 minutes, so it could have been worse.
