Busy day of cleaning. Right in the middle of it, I thought my vacuum broke 😲. I was doomed. Luckily it was just a really bad clog and I was able to finish.
Trying children's zyrtec for A tonight. FX it helps A's cough!
Today our friends are visiting for the night. We went to a local brewery Two Brothers and went on a tour. Babies in a brewery! They are the largest independently owned brewery in Illionois. And they brew 99% of their beer at that facility. It's a restaurant too...which is the main reason we were there 😉 Oh and they also make coffee. It smelled so good there!
ETA: rereading my post made it sound like they just brewed coffee...but they actually roast and flavor their own coffee beans to sell. They beans buy them from all over the world.
Spent most of today trying to get the house ready for my sprinkle next weekend. Then ILs babysat so DH and I could go to an engagement party. Now it’s 1030 and I’m still trying to put G down because the ILs didn’t even try to.
Last night after the girls were in bed we played a few games our friends bought: Know Your Meme and Settlers of Catan. I was familiar with Catan but this was the first time I actually played and it was really fun. But it's pretry expensive for a board game that we might not play much (need 3 or 4 people to play). Today our friends left pretty early and we went to Costco for a few things. It was crazy busy but the girls enjoyed the samples haha.
So today I was checking my daughter's throat again. Just to make sure her cough isn't something related to her throat or mouth, like redness or strep. And I found the grossest looking thing that I think, after some googling, is a high rising, visible epiglottis... I've never seen this before while looking in her throat. I think I should take her in to the doctor to get it checked out and ask about why nothing we've done for her cough has helped. Anyone know of this or have experience with a visible epiglottis?
