How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? I wanted to do gym*3. But instead i did gym twice and one stroller strides.
What worked and what didn't? Getting up for the gym at 515am is not sustainable for me. So I think I need to separate gym days bc I won't make it there back to back.
Specific goal for the coming week? Gym*3 and one stroller strides. If we hit 30 degrees I'll run outdoors.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? I thought a stroller workout would be super easy and I could tack it on to a gym day. Not true. It's very hard and doing it the same day as the gym did not work for me.
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? At the end of a run when I try to kick I picture Macklemore and Ryan Lewis running beside me and performing just for me to help me over the finish line.

How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? My goal was to run once and bike twice. I biked twice. DH was out of town so running while he was away wasn't an option and we were too busy last weekend to work it into the schedule.
What worked and what didn't? This check in worked! It was my motivation to bike. I wanted to be able to post that I met part of my goal.
Specific goal for the coming week? Same goal. Run once, bike twice.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? When I was pregnant and preparing for labor, I would do 10 squats every time I went to the bathroom. I need to do something like that again to work resistance training into my day. For example, every time I go to the kitchen for a snack, I have to do 10 pushups and 20 situps.
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? I am a runner. So whether I'm biking, running, or swimming, when the going gets tough, I imagine myself running strong. Yesterday I was struggling through the last 4 minutes of my bike workout. I visualized myself running the last half mile of my running route. I was strong, relaxed, and in control. Gah, I hate biking so much but the cross training is good.

How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? My week was pretty good. I worked out every day. Starting using a kettle bell to strengthen my core. That was a bit intense for me!
What worked and what didn't? I am still working on eating healthier. Darn chocolate from Valentine's Day and Girl Scout Cookies!
Specific goal for the coming week? Keep working out and try to eat less sweets.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? No, but I like the idea of doing squats or push ups when I get a snack!
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? Losing weight, looking better in my clothes, and feeling more confident.

How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? I will have made it if I go workout at some point today. I was lazy this morning, but I've still got 12 hours.
What worked and what didn't? Going to Krav Maga twice worked again, fortunately. Getting up early to go to the gym works too, unless it's like this morning and I'm just tired.
Specific goal for the coming week? Keep getting workouts in there when I can. Take more walks with LO, I think we only did 2 this week.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? No, but I love the idea of doing some squats or pushups when I get a snack.
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? I usually let myself have 5 breaths, as slow as I can make them, and then get back to it.

How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? I worked out 5/7 days - kickboxing, Zumba, one day of upper body/cardio/core and one day of lower body/cardio/core and one day where I did total body.
What worked and what didn't? Snow got in the way again (big storm last Sunday) and we went to Frozen on Ice yesterday so I didn't work out those two days. Otherwise it was a good week.
Specific goal for the coming week? Get that 4th day of lifting in. Workout 6/7 days. We are going to the IL's this weekend so it's going to be tough b/c I will miss my usual weekend fitness classes, and it's like -15 here in the mornings so it will be hard to go for a run.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? Not that I can think of!
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? When I'm lifting and I start to get to the end of a set, I say "ok one more, ok one more" to get those extra reps out. Also this might sound bad but when it's getting tough, I imagine what I don't want. Like flabby arms - I don't want those so it pushes me to do a few more reps.
How was your week? Did you meet last weeks goal? Pretty good. I did accomplish a goal and that was to incorporate walking on the treadmill at an incline. I also used MyFitnessPal to stay within my calories (with in 100-200)
What worked and what didn't? I made going to the gym a priority. I wanted to go more then I wanted to sit at home. I also have to fit into my uniform in two weeks so that was motivating. I fit, but it's not comfortable. I went Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Each time I did a little longer and increased the intensity of the incline. With that said, I have slacked off T25 work out program. The MFP app helps me make better food choices.
Specific goal for the coming week? Get back to T25 ( I did pay $$for it), continue to go to the gym and keep making good food choices.
Learn any new tricks to help the rest of us? Nope but I am going to steal the idea of doing 10 squats In the bathroom/push ups in the kitchen.
GTKNY: what do you envision/ think about during that "I can't take it anymore" moment in your workout ? I think if a quote I saw on Pinterest that has stuck with me...
So if I feel like I can't take it, I just tell myself "I'm not done yet".
