We have 3. Becco Gemini, I still use it with my 2 year old and have yet to put newest bitty in it. I also have a RS that I am loving right now that a friend of mine made for me. It is mesh and I love it even more in the summer months, it is perfect for the pool because it drys so quickly. I also have the JJ Cole Agility wrap. I don't love it, but it fits in the diaper bag and is quick and easy to get on when we are out in public.

We have the Moby, and pretty much love it except it can kind of be a pain to tie on and then get LO adjusted comfortably. Coincidentally we just bought the Infantino Unison newborn while we were out and about today, hoping it would be easier to put on but still be comfortable and able to BF in. None of the above. I'm interested in what you all say about your favorites and I'll probably just order buy one online based on that, considering I'm on the Amazon train now Shameless Moby selfie in the grocery store.
I'll be investing in something more comfy! How long is it ok to wear LO? Is there a certain age/weight you're supposed to stop at? Obviously you don't wanna wear a toddler or anything lol but I didn't know safety wise if you're supposed to stop early on?
You can absolutely wear a toddler. The weight limits depend on the type of carrier you use. General guidelines: wraps are good to about 25 lbs, ring slings to about 35, and the Tula can go all the way up to about 45, plus they make toddler Tulas that go higher than that.
Wearing toddlers is a good way to include them in activities like hiking, snowshoeing, etc.
I second this. My toddler is on the small side, we still use our Becco Gemini for her.

I love the look of the boba! I have a k'tan, which I used a lot at first. I can't quite get the hang of it now that he's bigger. I never know what to do with his little legs. I also have an ergo that I used a lot with the infant insert. I haven't used it since he's become too big for the insert though.. Again, not really sure what to do with his legs. They're not long enough to wrap around me and it seems uncomfy to sit like a frog.

I absolutely adore my second hand ergo sport! Unfortunately the female buckle cracked. All ergo could do was gimme 20% off a new one so I waited until taxes and got a original one. It's amazing when I need to take both of them out by myself. Most the time it's really comfortable to wear LO but after 2hrs or so I need a break. I don't have a picture of the new one but this is the sport
I'm still doing the frog sit for LO in the Ergo. Now that he's getting bigger, I'm able to spread his legs a little more around my front, but they are nowhere near sticking out of the sides yet.
Good to know, thanks! I've watched videos on YouTube but my LO still doesn't feel comfy. I'm going to teach MH how to wear it tomorrow so I'll play around to see what works.

Mina seems to like the Boba! It's the only carrier we have, although I'm incredibly interested in the ring style carriers. I'm not very good at this thing just yet, but we're slowly getting the hang of it. Practice makes perfect, right?

Have you looked into a babywearing group in your area? Usually they have lots of carriers to try for a month at a time if you're a member. Also, I've experienced really friendly members who will bring their own carriers to try at meetup.
Hadn't thought of this before, I'll have to do some research and see if there is one in my town. Thanks for the idea!
Babywearing is MCM's middle name. I am Tula obsessed and just ordered a lil rascals print and some suck pads to go with it! I also have a mei tei, a Moby, and an emeibaby carrier. :-)
We have an ergo, and though I've only practiced with it at home, I'm not super comfortable/ confident with it. Even with the infant insert, I find that LOs head moves too much for my liking, and I feel like her head keeps falling forward against my chest. I'm paranoid about her chin touching her chest and reducing her airflow, so i'm mostly holding her head upright while walking around in the ergo. Hoping soon her neck control will improve and allow me to relax a bit.

Lo does the same thing and absolutely refuses to turn her head to the side. So every few minutes(seconds) i'm making sure I can hear her breathe. I can't wait until I can ditch the insert though, it'll be that much easier to get on in the parking lots
Anybody have a Baby K'tan and any words about it? I'm thinking that's what I may get next.
I have one and my only complaint is that if you wear it for long periods of time it gets stretched out a bit. Great for newborns though and easy to put on.

I have a Moby, RS, and Ergo. I use the Ergo 99% of the time (which is almost daily!), and haven't even used my Moby with DS (used a little with his sisters). Phone won't let me upload a photo right now...

Does anyone have a particular ring sling they like or are they pretty much all the same? I love my moby but am hoping for something that's a little easier to put on, or a little smaller to stick in the diaper bag.

I have a K'tan. It's ok. I rarely use it because I have a difficult time getting it on right. I feel like I spend a lot of time adjusting and pulling before baby and I are comfortable in it.
I prefer using my boba wrap because it's so much more comfortable. The boba wrap fabric stretches nicely, but stays fitted if you tie it tightly.

I just took this pic of C and thought of this thread. He's sleeping with his hand over his eyes in the Ergo.
We have this Ergo which I found brand new at a consignment shop for half price. We have a similar one that is Snugli brand that I had with DD. I wore her in that on my back hiking when she was 2.5- very comfortable. I also have a mei tai which is nice when they're itty bitty but also works when they're a bit bigger. I always wanted a wrap but now that they're bigger I don't think I'll get one.

I have the Moby wrap and Ergo. I have used the Moby more than my Ergo. I don't like the Ergo infant insert and LO did not like it either when I put him in it. I think it will work better when he gets bigger. I need to get better at using my Moby more. This thread has inspired me to do so!

Think I'm going to order a boba wrap. Anything you don't like about it?
It took a while for me to get used to wrapping it. But, now I love it and there is nothing I dislike about it.
Right now we only have a Moby but he LOVES it. Calms him right down. I plan to get a Mei Tei next. Not sure how long I plan to baby wear so I don't want to invest in anything too expensive just yet.
We have an Ergo too, and LO has been pretty happy in it the couple times we've tried it so far. She is starting to like looking outward when we hold her so she can check everything out. I'm wondering if she won't like facing in in her Ergo because she won't be able to look around as easily. Anyone have experience with this?
I have a JJ Cole Agility wrap. We had some issues with the newborn snuggle position and my boobs being in the way. Now that he's bigger and his head is less floppy, this position works better.
I also have an ergo, which I really like so far. I think we will get a lot of use out of it once he can hold his head up on his own. In the meantime, the wrap is easier for getting things done around the house.
Newborn/snuggle (hard to keep chin to chest happening - thanks boobs)
Ergo - I got the infant insert to try but will be returning it. The pillow at the bottom is nice but you can just put rolled up receiving blankets there instead. The baby likes the ergo.
