The good: DH and I are busting out some house stuff today which makes me happy and more prepared for number 2 (only 9 weeks left!). We hung a curtain rod/new curtains, 2 new smoke/CO monitors, and are hoping to clean out the toy room when DD wakes up and then disassemble her crib, hang the other video monitor, and move her dresser and larger items. Crazy to think that tomorrow morning I'll be getting my toddler out of the non-nursery... Where does time go?!?

The Bad: As PPs said, the weekend is over and it's back to reality. The temp here is actually close to freezing (28 compared to the single digits of the last 2 weeks) and sunny so things are starting to thaw out, but I'm nervous the temperature will "drop" again and it will be a big sheet of ice by my morning commute.

Looking forward to: the red carpet Oscar show (I usually only watch the opening number of the actual Oscars because then I'm bored)

Not looking forward to: spending tonight at the ILs, leaving V here tomorrow night by herself while we take B to a larger centre so he can have surgery Tuesday afternoon to remove a cyst from his left cheek.
