Y'all must have a more exciting day than me today. The board is d.e.a.d.
It is a rainy dreary day here so we have been cooped up all day. My DH has been watching the race and JA has been playing. I have now retreated with a glass of wine (yes, at 3:30) and am taking a hot soak. I have work to do later this evening but am in denial that the weekend is already basically over. It went so fast! I dont want to work yet and was hoping for something to read here.
But you all must have stuff going on today! Boo, but I do hope y'all are having fun!

Aubrey is napping and I'm about to lose it if H doesn't take Shane to the store before aubrey wakes up. Poor H stayed out late drinking last night and has barely moved to day ::eyeroll:: I did make it to the gym so yay for that. Otherwise I'm thinking of making some no bake sunbutter bars as a surprise for shane.

You allergy moms rock! I had never even heard of sunbutter until y'all talk about it here.
My DH would not have as nice of a wife as you. I would be extra loud and bossy if he was hungover. He is grown and should know better. Lol

I think he did just enough to not get yelled at, a couple dishes, started a load of laundry... Nothing too taxing but if I started yelling about him being lazy he could say he did something.

mrsrek10 how is JA's skin? I was going to mention in the other post that shanes allergist recommended bathing every night to wash the allergens off the skin. She said a lukewarm bath no more than 10 minutes and then moisturize immediately after.
We have to pack to prep for the move. So naturally I've done next to nothing. H took his sweet time doing god knows what in the garage "cleaning it out" so I've been stuck with both kids all day. And it's also rainy and gloomy so we've done pretty much nothing. I'm going to take emery with me to the market just so we can leave the house.

We adopted a puppy this week so we've been busy working on getting him house broken. It's worse than potty training a toddler, which we are working on at the same time. It's exhausting!

It is a little better. I gave him an oatmeal bath and have been slathering him up good all weekend. He also has molluscums on him and I wonder if that is making it worse. Poor kid can't catch a skin break. I am going to call a derm this week to try to get him an appt. I really think he is allergic to grass (at least our grass). After playing outside he gets splotchy patches and a runny nose. I do bathe him if he has been outside. His current daycare doesn't go outside so if he isn't home, he isn't outside. I do wash him with the same thinking of washing allergens off after he goes outside. I will say it again, a manual that came out with each kid would have been nice!

Jealous (lol). I want a pet but we all were sick when we were going to look and then went out if town. It just moved down the to-do list temporarily. JA wants a kitty cat or dog. I prefer dog. DH likes dogs but thinks cats are easier. So we need to find one we all agree on too. Post a puppy pic when you can!

I'm around. Moping. I still don't feel right, but not bad enough to really sit around. The house is a disaster and MIL is here in the morning, ugh. Cosette is running around screaming made up words and laughing her butt off at herself. Weirdo.

I didn't even think of this then but if you do allergy tests do it to for pets. I know you guys are thinking of getting a dog. If he is allergic to grass even a dog would bring grass in. Poor kid. I would hate for him to get an animal and be miserable around it.
Lol I tried explaining it originally but it sounded stupid. I'll try again. You know how fans think Harry and Louis are secretyly together? Louis tweeted Harry a few years ago "Always in my heart @harrystyles Sincerely, Louis Tomlinson". Well the tweet became the second most retweeted tweet of all time fairly recently, it passed the Obama tweet and was second to Ellen's Oscar selfie from last year. So anyway today it hit one million retweets. It doesn't seem like a big deal but we think it is. Like...hopefully it shows them how many fans would support them if they came out.
This weekend has been nuts and we haven't really done much. Just the same old shit around the house that I feel like is never-ending. I took Henry to this in-door bounce house thing because my sister was going with my niece and it was good because we've been stuck inside because of the cold and Henry NEEDED to run. So go figure he wouldn't nap today...it makes no sense to me at all. He's been a nightmare the last couple of hours but there was no way I was going to let him go down after 5pm. Ugh...hopefully he will pass out early tonight.
I ordered yet another maternity belt on-line today because I'm fucking desperate but that's all the excitement I've had. Oh...and the swelling on my lip is so much better, now I just need the scab to heal and FX the growth doesn't come back. But at least I'm not embarrassed to be seen in public anymore
February break is over and I'm disappointed that it sucked. T was sick, then I got his cold, morning sickness gave me the blahs, DH spent all his downtime this week visiting his Dad in the hospital. Nothing life altering, but just a crappy week to have off. I feel like we did nothing. I didn't even take my bag out of the car. I have no idea what to do tomorrow at school so I'll sit back, be nauseous and take my award as the world's okay-est teacher.
I'd like to know how to make those sunbutter bars! Sounds like something that would make me happy.
At mrsrek10 - grass is my biggest allergen. I first noticed it playing soccer I would end up all blotchy where my socks didn't cover. It just got progressively worse. My allergy shots have definitely helped me, but it's still pretty bad. Hope JA's skin gets better soon.

We've had a busy weekend. DH is sick with a bad cold/cough & hasn't slept well so he hasn't been as much help as he usually is (understandably, he looked like death warmed over this morning). Dagny & I went to a birthday party last night, went to visit my grandma this afternoon & had dinner at my Dads tonight. So DH has gotten lots of rest & I'm hoping gets a good nights sleep tonight because he's got a busy week at work.
All I'm doing is work work work. Its mostly because I'm incapable of sitting still for 5 min and/or think I'm Wonder Woman. (FYI I'm not, I'm not tall enough).
I am up to my ears in work. Also, insomnia is in full swing now so I feel lousy most of the day. My lyfe is dull otherwise so I don't want to bore people.
Oh oh OH! Well 1 thing happened: my ex the Asshat emailed me for the first time in a loooong time. He's the one who said that me & him could have made a better baby, or something along those lines, when Peanut was a newborn.
He wants to know whats up, how I am, etc. NOPE.
ETA: what are we, like 16 yrs old?! I'm almost thirty-fucking-five and this kind of childish BS has no place in my life. He needs to act like an adult.
I melted chocolate chips and added half and half to spread on top. I also used oat flour instead of almond. If you are not interested in a super healthy bar I would add a little more sugar or even some powdered sugar to the batter. I thought they tasted decent but I would like to play with the recipe a little more.
It was actually a nice day here so DH took Kayleigh out to play in the snow...for 2 hours. I had a nice little break with just Andrew and me Then I was busy making a nice Sunday dinner (short ribs with a wine cream sauce). Just put the baby down, Kayleigh is watching Wreck It Ralph on tv and I'm about to do a Bikini Body Mommy workout. Then I'll reward myself with some wine
I'm sitting here watching the Oscars red carpet coverage while MH gives Robin a bath. Today we went to the science museum for my birthday to see the Art of the Brick Lego exhibit, which was awesome.
In a few minutes I'll go up and put Robin down and read stories, except I've pretty much completely lost my voice! I've had this horrible hacking cough for almost 2 weeks now and I can't seem to shake it. Thankfully I feel okay otherwise, but this cough is ridiculous and I have these unexpected coughing fits, which then make me pee, and make me nausea because of how hard the coughing pulls on my stomach muscles. I was going to try to wait it out but I think I'll give my OB a call tomorrow to see if there's anything I can take.

MM, you put something on that one; he won't go away!
We took elise to my parents to sled with H and my dad. She had a BLAST and it was so cute watching them. Other than that we have just been lounging and I've trying to get over the final hump of this stupid cold!
