AW: DD took a couple of steps on her own yesterday! Se def wobbly but I think it won't be long before she is walking on her own.
Rant: Got up early bc me and DD are flying out today to visit family. Thank god I checked my email bc our flight is delayed. I'm sooooo sleepy, if only I knew I could have slept in a little bit more. But at least I saw the delay before I woke DD up, got to the airport and had to wait around for a couple of hours.

AW: DD is doing what I believe are cute little waves. She mimics DH and I when we say hiiii and flaps her little fingers and smiles. So cute.
Rant: Stayed up way late watching the Oscars and am paying for it this morning. I look like hell and feel like hell. Oh, and I could totally tell that schools are back in session. Traffic was stupid this morning.
vlagroupie Have fun on your trip! We'll miss you on Saturday!
Our flight got delayed 8 hrs now!! It must be bc the plane is coming from somewhere else with bad weather. Our schedule is going to be totally fu*ked up now. Hoping the flight doesn't get delayed anymore.
I can't stand when my travel Plans change. Especially when I chose a more expensive flight because of the time, etc... And it winds up being moved anyway. And especially when it is delayed and they don't tell you before you get there when they should have flipping known.
It's Monday. Up all night with feverish baby. And DH turned the monitor off so he didn't help after 12. And then his cell died so when I got up at 7 to LOs cries, he got ready for work instead of getting lo dressed like normal. So I got lo dressed. I already had words for DH about this, but I'll be having more later. I have to get dressed for work too. And lo slept well the last 4-5 nights, which means DH gets 8+ hours of straight sleep while I take the one wake up feeding. So on a bad night he's supposed to get up and help more. And turned the monitor off. Rant not over for DH.
AW- my baby is cute. He's been pushing around his toys on his knees and it's cute.
ladytiffany24 how cute! I am in such aw watching DD learn new things.
vlagroupie sucks your flight is delayed. Have a safe trip though with DD!
AW- DD is making great progress in physical therapy as well with swimming and her Tumblebees class. It makes me so happy!
Rant-I'm totally done putting so much time and thought into certain family members that will forever be negative and hateful. Finally cutting ties and I need to be happy about it.

jmebormann One of my most favorite things about motherhood is watching DD learn and discover new things. It makes my heart so happy! YAY for DD making progress with everything!
I can also feel your pain about putting time into family members who are negative. I have a few who do nothing but drain my happy energy. Unfortunately, one of those people is my mother so it's a constant struggle for me. Case in point as to why I'm in counseling trying to figure out some boundaries with her!

I've got nothing special today. We have DS nine month appt. today, and I've got a few things I want to discuss with the pedi, especially about his food allergies.

Good for you!! Counseling can be so effective and kudos to you for doing it. I hope it goes well for you guys! My struggles are with one my sisters. I'm the oldest of 7 siblings and she's second oldest. I love all my siblings so much but she's a bad apple. Period.
jmebormann awesome on the therapy. Tumblebees class sounds like fun wish I would have know about it when DD was younger.
They have classes for kiddos older too! You should check it out! As soon as DD hits 6months she goes to the next class. I plan on continuing to go. It's great for socialization for DD and me! Lots of families and mommies who you see every week!
jmebormann I just looked them up and the 6 month to preschool class on Saturdays. Might have to look in to this.
Definitely do! I'm really impressed with the facility and teachers. Mominthemaking14 also goes. Check out the swimming through them too! They have Saturday classes.

LO will be 11 months old tomorrow. Whew - don't have to worry about the sticker picture this evening. I really need to get on this party thing and nail down dates/times/invitations.
TPs for stupid DHs and hope all the sick babies feel better.
Another Rant: I know I've brought it up before, but I seem to be losing gobs of hair it seems.
I could still rant about my hair regrowth now it's the worst! I've got all these little hairs sticking up in the front, I don't think the texture of my hair will ever be the same. So rant away, I'm right there with ya.

AW: M correctly pointed to his nose, mouth, eyes, ears and hair this morning.
Rant: Why does my employer refuse to invest in quality software/equipment. I've been fighting with my remote desktop for almost 2 hours. I'm ready to go home.
We have M's 15mo appointment today. Yikes, where is the time going, we only have one more well visit before his 2yr checkup. Time really needs to slow down.
Rant #2: Nosy people at work. Seriously, unless you're my boss, it's none of your business what I'm doing on my computer. If you insist on trying to see what I'm doing, can you be a little more discreet, like not leaning halfway across my desk to read what I'm reading/typing.

I now stick them above his head on the chair that he's sitting in. Otherwise they end up in his mouth.

I'm now getting some silly hair regrowth as well. The short hairs sticking up is just so attractive.

Ugh! I pulled out a handful this morning. I almost cried. I seriously thought I'd have a bald spot somewhere. I researched and there's really nothing to do about it. Damn.
