So how did that go? Do they know about the repair it needed? Solely just curious.
I was completely up front. I told them my credit was rough, it needed a new rack and pinion, it's pouring fluid and it was was in two major wrecks in 2008. I got a little over what I owed for it and into a base model CR-V.

Congrats! I'm going to be car shopping soon and am looking at CR-Vs.
The vehicle we traded in was also a CR-V. If it hadn't been involved in two major wrecks 6 mknrhs after we bought it I think it would have been a great long term vehicle. It lasted us 8 years. I don't think the repairs were done correcrly by the non Honda body ship when the wrecks happened.
It's a base model, too! AND it has so much cool stuff like a back up camera and bluetooth!! Cars have come such a long way!
my 10 year old accord is still going strong and I love it. DH wants me to get a new car and the only way he is getting me interested is with features like that.
Base models are so, so fancy now! lol. He pulled it up and I was dumbfounded. I'm still adjusting to having the camera, digital display, etc. It has voice dial, blue tooth, all kinds of jacks. It's awesome!
