Cycle 1/CD 13
I am just waiting to O at this point. I have used the OPKs I got from cookiesandwine yesterday and today. I'm thinking it should show a positive tomorrow or Thursday. We DTD today and will either aim for tomorrow and/or Thursday depending on the OPK for the next few days.
So...I got a faint positive yesterday! A positive is a positive right? I will test again soon to see if it gets darker. I am not getting my hopes up just yet, but am experiencing some early pregnancy symptoms for sure! They are bringing back some memories of the good old days. I am honestly scared though because I am still taking Macrobid for my UTI and the timing could not have been worse! I pray that if I am pregnant, this is a sticky and healthy baby!!
Congrats Ashleynaka! It's an anxiety filled time for sure, but taking Macrobid is not a big deal, perfectly safe during pregnancy. If you have a UTI that's what they prescribe. The UTI itself could cause many more issues with the fetus than the antibiotic hands down. Plus, anything before 6 weeks doesn't reach your new little bean yet anyway, so even if there were a conflict of interest, you'd be fine. good luck to all you ladies adding to your fabulous families!
As for me, empty ute as usual. Been having a ton of mid-cycle spotting so thats annoying. We may miss the FW this month, but its ok. We may give it a half-hearted try until June or so. Long story. Anyway, I'm charting and all of that, but not preggly.

trixi282,you're so sweet to ask. I actually had a follow-up appointment today to discuss my low (0.2--awesome! ) day-21 progesterone level. Doctor doesn't think there is value in doing any other hormone (or other) testing at this time and wants me to try 3 cycles of Clomid and come back in 3 months. Maybe this plan-of-action is typical, but jumping right to Clomid without any evaluation of what is causing the issue makes me uneasy and after discussing with my H, I think I'm going to make myself an appointment with an RE to get his/her thoughts on the whole situation. Fortunately, my insurance doesn't require a referral and hopefully I'll feel better about the whole thing after getting a second opinion. Thank you for thinking of me!
Thank you to you all! It's official! My H is still in semi denial for whatever reason, but I guess he will see baby soon enough.
nellrose, I miss you lady! So glad you are back and thanks so much for calming my nerves. starfishy, thanks for making me feel better too!
vtkatydid12, You are doing the right thing by not taking Clomid right away. It is not fun according to my sister who is an OB/GYN resident. Keep us posted on what happens after your RE visit. Praying you get some solid answers.
Been a crazy week so I'm just getting on here. Congrats USCgirl, a line is def a line!
As for me, I got a BFN at 10 dpo today. I know it's not over till AF shows, and I tested early, but I'm still not going to get my hopes up. If AF shows this cycle then we are done, my GYN has already called in the BC pills. We are halfway through the foster-adopt classes and should be licensed by May. I didn't love being pregnant and the whole birth process anyway, so I'm a little excited to possibly get to skip all that and just go straight to the squishy. We shall see.
vtkatydid12 I have no experience with clomid, but from what all the ladies here have said, I think you're right to go see an RE first before jumping right in to using it.
I hope the RE has some more insight and possibly more answers for you - keep us posted!
