Do you give LO a morning and/or afternoon snack? Or neither? How do you time it with morning/afternoon naps? I think my LO is needing snacks now and I'm trying to figure out the timing with her naps. Thanks!

Our LO eats like this.
8:30ish Breakfast (cereal, cheerios, fruit, etc).
Nap
early lunch once he's up from nap, or morning snack depending on how long nap was.
Nap
afternoon snack, or late lunch (again all based around time / naps).
Dinner - usually around 6:15 once we're home from daycare & I can get something out for him. He says "mmmmmmmmmmuuuummmmmmmmmmm" and gets mad if this takes too long. HA.
So right now we are at 3 meals & 1 snack, either morning or afternoon depending on timing of naps.
8:00 bottle usually 8oz formula 10am 2tbs cereal/2tbs puree 12pm school lunch or bottle if she does not like the food 2pm snack - crackers or fruit 3pm bottle - 6-8oz formula 6pm dinner - whatever we are eating 7:30-8pm - bottle anywhere from 2-6 oz formula
Miss thing has a morning snack after her 9:30/10 nap usually yogurt and then her lunch at 12:30 ish if she needs a snack in the afternoon it's usually cheese or fruit or something

I should add - I didn't include bottles in my day above. He gets sippy cups with breast milk at meal times & snacks. He still takes a bottle before naps & bedtime too.

We don't really do either. She does get puffs/fruit/yogurt puff or a graham cracker when I am fixing a meal for her but I don't really give her a specific snack.
Yikes. I am slacking. She gets a full bfast of eggs fruit and a veggie at 730/8 am. She then gets milk and naps. Then more milk. Then at 12/1 she has lunch. Then milk and a nap. Then milk. Then milk. Then dinner at 6.
Our day 6.30 boob 7.30 breakfast 8.30/9 nap 10 boob 11.30/12 lunch 12.30/1 boob/nap 3 snack (cereal/fruit) 4.30 boob 5.30 dinner 7.0 boob and bed
Now today she woke late and everything is off. Depending on how long/late she slept sometimes she gets a snack while I'm making dinner.
Snacks are mostly cereal (Cheerios / shreddies) and/or a fruit. When she's sick I'll give her a bottle instead. But snacks are a new addition because she's started stretching nursing sessions.
morning and afternoon snacks. typically in the AM after his nap some fruit or puffs or yogurt. Afternoon snack after a nap cheese, graham crackers or goldfish. At this point we feed him anything. He had meatballs, baby-bell cheese and mixed veggies for dinner tonight!

We do two snacks a day usually 30 mins to an hour before nap. This is our "new" schedule in that we just dropped the pre nap bottles this past week.
7am wake & bottle 8:30 breakfast 10 snack (Apple sauce or yogurt type snack) 10:30 sippy of milk & nap 1 (wake 11:30-12) 12 lunch 1:45 snack (fruit and cheese usually) 2:30 sippy of milk & nap 2 (wake around 3:30-4) 5-5:15 supper 6 bottle and bed
I'm working toward dropping the 7am bottle and having breakfast then instead. Then shifting the first snack to around 9-9:30. DD just isn't intereted in food until she's been awake for a while.

6/7am boob followed by breakfast. 8/9 nap 11 elevinsies/lunch + water 1/2pm 5oz bottle of boob/cow milk combo; nap 3 snack with cup of milk. 5/6 dinner with water. 7 boob and sleep.
Yes, snacks after a nap are a perfect way for Levi who occasionally isn't happy about waking up... in the morning he is! puffs, crackers, cheese, yogurt and/or fruit

I give snacks! If it's like 4:30 and not quite dinner time (which is usually around 5:30) I will give some puffs/baby cheese doodles/wagon wheels or Cheerios.

We do two naps a day here and snack depends upon what's going on. If it's before 10:30 and he's acting hungry DS gets a morning snack. He always has an afternoon snack after his nap unless he naps later than 4:30pm then we jump right to supper.
