I'm so desperate for food but I just cannot figure out what's going to cut it for tonight! I was just going to reheat some leftovers, but I looked at it and there's just no way I can do it. So.

I'm making a slow cooker chili...little nervous because I didn't soak or cook the beans beforehand and read about getting sick from the toxins not cooking enough in the slow cooker. It's white and northern beans and I put it on high for 6 hours. MH's eating the first helping and I'll be waiting an hour or so before I drive in, that doesn't make me a horrible person...does it?
I was bad and didn't want to cook so ordered chinese. I need to quit it... according to the Mayo Clinic guide to pregnancy I should not be gaining weight yet!

DH made steaks last night to "make sure his boy had protein" *rolls eyes* Tonight, I'm not sure. I've got some ground beef thawing in the fridge. Should probably figure something out soon. DH has class tonight though, so it'll have to be something quick.
