I slept like crap because the dog was being such a bed hog. I haven't been letting him sleep with us lately but he jumped in last night and looked so cute. I won't be falling for the cuteness again!!!
Today we just need to grocery shop. I need to study. We also only have one coffee K-Cup left which sucks because I could probably drink three cups this morning!

DD is sick so I've slept like crap the last two nights. Her fever keeps rising in the night and she's miserable. We've watched Despicable Me so many times this week.
We really don't have any plans this weekend which is great. Grocery shopping and laundry today.

Ive been up since 530 with a stomach ache/nausea and contractions. Thankfully the contractions have pretty much stopped. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. Tad too early for my liking.
Of course R woke up shortly after. I need to find enough energy to go to target. Dh is insisting we try a new brand of diaps since R has had a wicked rash all week poor thing was screaming and crying last night. I guess it can't hurt.
Yesterday was my last day of work so I'm officially on mat leave!

hikingmama222 Aw I hope your DD feels better soon!!!
chilibeansm0m Sorry to hear about R's rash I hope a different diaper brand clears it up! It is exciting you are on maternity leave. I can't believe little A will be here soon. I hope being on maternity leave lets you get some extra rest. Glad those contractions stopped.
I am seriously considering sending DH to grocery shop alone. He has a haircut at 11:30 so we don't have enough time to go before his appointment and it makes no sense for him to get his haircut and then come back to get me because the salon is right next to the grocery store ... Hmmmm.

This morning the hubby and I decided we couldn't take another minute of being in the house with Jack. He has been such a holy terror lately. We packed him up for an hour car ride to a discovery museum here in NJ. Not the most kosher of places...it was loud, run down and soooo crowded. But Jack seemed to enjoy himself and had a fun day. He napped for an hour on the way there and fell asleep within 30 minutes at 8:30. So looks like a win-win as long as he doesn't get sick from the place. Fingers crossed! Tomorrow the MIL is insisting on cooking dinner for us. (She isn't the best cook-not looking forward to it). But again, it will get us out of the house. I seriously cannot wait until spring comes and we can start frequenting the park again every day. I'll be packing Adam up everyday and lugging him to the park just to keep my sanity with Jack at this rate. Yay for a Spring baby this go-around!!

Right there with you. I feel like we are crawling the walls because of this damn weather!

I am also looking forward to the spring!!! I don't have a car right now and it has been a brutally cold winter so DS has been cooped up most every weekday. I cannot wait until we can get back outside!
Yesterday was Target and Aldis trips. Today is lounging for a while we may go play in the snow for a bit before lunch. I'm working a double again tonight so I need a good nap out of this one today.
Odd thought from reading the meal plan thread I've never made rice before. I've done the rice a roni crap but not just plain rice. I should probably start exploring with more foods.

We have had a good weekend so far but DD had been a terror. she is normally so well behaved but not this weekend. We went shopping & to lunch yesterday because we have been stuck in the house most of the week. I needed to get out! We are headed to church this morning then lunch at the ILs.

Rice is easy to cook on the stove but I love our rice cooker so much! I use it almost everyday. I cook steel cut oats and quinoa in it too.

I'm so over DD being sick. She was acting fine all afternoon and evening but it went to crap last night. She wouldn't sleep unless she was fully on top of me. Even then she cried and moaned most of the night. She's an angry cranky mess this morning.
Good thing there is lots of curling on today. I'm sure we'll be cuddling on the couch most of the day.

They have rice cookers? I'm so confused the only time we eat rice is when it comes with Chinese food bahahhaa

Rice cooker. Get one. It's life changing. I recommend everyone get one. Amazon isn't bad on pricing. I don't rec the cheap brands from target or wal mart. They break.
Yesterday we went sledding for an hour. I am so sore today. DH painted the powder room this week. It looks amazing, but he had to put in the sink and toilet in yesterday and we hung up the new mirror. Today is church, laundry and groceries. I am feeling more and more sore as the day goes on.
I'm a bit late but add me to the my 2 year old is a terror list. How lucky am I to have one going through a hitting and spitting phase? Where do they learn this stuff? Ugh.
