We just bought a 25 dollar box of honest company diapers for R. I know dh is going to complain about the price considering we have a subscribe and save deal on our pampers cruisers on amazon. Which will deliver another case next week btw.
But R has had a diaper rash all week. I don't get it. We thought it was blueberries (the acid) so we cut those. It's been at least 3 weeks since she has had any and yet we have the worse rash going. She keeps grabbing herself going "booboo" which breaks my heart! She was sooooo upset last night when she pooped. She refused to sit down for 15 min.
Aside from trying to get her to use the potty more (which is kinda a double edge sword because if she pees it'll burn so she isn't doing fantastic with this one), we've swapped our wipes for a washcloth and water and are now trying the honest diapers because they look like they have a lot less chemicals. I'm not sure if I'll like them or not....I'm worried they won't contain the poops. What are your experiences? I'm sure I've heard you ladies brag about them on tb. We're also sticking to our triple paste which usually helps but hasn't been helping this time.
I'm not really looking to start cloth diapering at this point. Though this has put my idea in my head for A..
I figure if she still looks the same by monday I should email my doc because I'm worried it could be yeast maybe? She's never had one this bad.

Is jobiann ever around here anymore? I know she had a magic mix for diaper rash! We used it once and it was amazing. I cannot remember what was in it though. Try to search for the thread on The Dump. It should definitely be somewhere on the old board.
No experience with Honest Co. but have heard good things. I hope she feels better soon!

Oh also someone on the OAD board just had an issue with Huggies and a rash after using the same diapers for forever. She called Huggies and told them just in case it was something wrong with that particular box/batch and they sent her a refund for the box. Pampers may do the same so it can't hurt to call!

I may do this. I've called them before when we got a box that diap after diap the tabs kept ripping off! They didn't give me a refund for the case but they did send me 5 ten dollar off coupons for next time. She's been in size 4 cruisers for at least 6 months. I guess it could be that they've changed something. I guess it could be possible. Well see how she does in these. I don't know that dh is going to like em that much for that price. Too bad they don't have an amazon deal too.

last time soph had really bad diaper rash (to the point she cried when she pooped) we used cortizone...if you can find a half strength one....just a thin layer twice a day the dr said...so we did in the am and before bed....it seemed to help....also the triple paste.... I'm sure by now you know, so not trying to sound condescending or anything....but make sure she's dry when you put on the triple paste....dh mentioned it to the day care once and they didn't seem to know that? the stuff blocks out moisture so if you put it on wet baby down belows it'll trap the moisture too....
soph also had a yeast infection once....they knew it was bc it spread down her thighs and wasn't just in her bits....if it hasn't spread or anything you might be ok...
good luck.....there's nothing worse when the baby is in pain and there isn't really anything to do :/
I've never used that brand, but B had a horrific diaper rash with yeast last year when she caught the flu. Her pedi prescribed an ointment to use for the yeast and we used the dounle strength (the purple package) Desitin. Desitin has always worked for us, and she has rashes a lot, even though I change her every 10 minutes and we leave her diaper off after bath for a bit to air out her business.
