So what do you guys have planned for today? I'm running out of creative things to do to wear the toddler out, and I'm hoping you guys will have good ideas I can steal. Right now the plan is for me to go grocery shopping, while DH and DS1 go out in the snow to play.

nachomomma - That's way more creative than what I've got planned... I just plan on lying around while DH entertains DS.
Snow day though! I was just feeling so over the winter already and seriously looking forward to some warmer weather, but now I'm watching the snow come down, and it's so purttyyy.

I am choosing to clean one room a day until Thursday. Of course kitchen is taking two.... I'm taking it easy since I know dirt will be here after Emery is born, but rest will not lol.
Toddler is getting entertained by everyone being home and I'm trying give him all my snuggles.
Probably too late in the day to do now, but we took DS to Bass Pro Shops today. It was a hit! Giant taxidermy animals and a big aquarium for him.... Cheap consession stand with a soft pretzel and cheese for me. Win win!
And in other cheap entertainment ideas we have done.... Wondering around Petsmart and going to Meijer for groceries since they have a pet/fish section. DS is 9mos, so he's really into the bright lights and fish.

These all sound like things the toddler would like.
DH took him to the Children's Museum, and apparently there was a dance party. I think bedtime will be easier than usual tonight.

sstwinklinglites the exhibit was pretty neat. We took M with us, but I think I would have rather gone without him. It was a lot more graphic than I was expecting, and there were several mummified young children, which was really difficult to see and read about.
Currently on hold with Frontier airlines trying to reschedule our flight. DD started running a fever yesterday, it wouldn't get better with medicine, so we went to urgent care. Well, she has an ear infection and I would prefer not to fly with her. I googled flying with ear infections and there is a chance of burst eardrum which scares the sh*t out of me. Freakin' Frontier has at least an hour wait on the phone, ugh!!! I guess this should be my rant for tomorrow, just so irritated right now, hoping we can figure it out.

mrscatfarmer13 - Maybe my DS is too small to care what he's looking at? I can't really go anywhere with DH unless he's with us. But anyway, it really fascinates me. I went to the King Tut exhibit in Ft. Lauderdale and in NY. And my favorite part of going to the Museum of Natural History is by far the Egyptian exhibits.
vlagroupie - That sucks! FX for a speedy recovery and so that Frontier cooperates.
Thanks! After 1.5 hr of waiting on the phone, we got rescheduled to come back on Wednesday with no fees. Guess we will just have to hang out in FL for a couple more days ;-) but seriously, we are going back to urgent care to make sure she can fly and the ear infection is clearing up. Ladies who have experience with ear infections, when are they usually cleared up? She's been taking antibiotics since Saturday evening and we fly out on Wednesday morning, just hoping this is enough time.

Max didn't seem to care, but it felt weird letting him look at everything. There really wasn't much about Egypt in the exhibit, which surprised me. I would say it's more about mummies from other parts of the world and natuarally occurring mummification.

Awww. Still interested, but less so. I love studying Egyptian history, going to exhibits, etc. I have a strategically placed tattoo of some Egyptian Hieroglyphs, so my love affair is real.
