I got B big girl pjs today! Where did my baby go? I also got a bunch of stuff at the Dollar Store for her Easter basket, crunchymama11
What is everyone putting in easter baskets this year?
Summer pjs, fat crayons, big pad of paper, coloring book, wind up chick, and a baby bottle to feed her doll. B doesn't like candy. Other than the pjs, all of the other stuff is from the dollar store. I might throw one of the toys I put away from Christmas in there too.

I haven't been on here all weekend. DS has been sick. Ugh, I hate when he's not feeling well. We kept him home from daycare today and my MIL came over to watch him and cuddle. On a side note, I had a job interview on Friday. It was with my same company, just a different dept. How was everyone's weekend?

Ugh poor baby. Hope he's feeling better soon. Good luck with the interview, do you know when you will find out?
Our weekend was ok. Finally got to take declan for his first haircut. I'm not sure what kind of masochist you have to be to want to cut little kids hair. Declan was pretty well behaved but kept looking all over the place. This one kid a few chairs over flipped his ever loving shit. Poor guy was scream crying and flailing all over the place. I'm not sure who I felt worse for, the parents who looked liked they want to crawl in a hole or the poor hair cutter who just stood there not knowing what to do.
The weather finally seems to be taking a turn in the right direction so we went walking around Valley Forge park yesterday. It was good to get some fresh air for a change.
clarkebar1013, I hope kiddo feels better soon! Cam is still snotty, but that seems to be the worst of it. However, he's testing all his limits, and he fell twice yesterday. The first time, he was running ahead of me to try to get up the steps before I put the gate up, and his front teeth cut his bottom lip. The second time, he fell when he was trying to reach the TV box to push buttons, and he cut his top lip on the shelf. It's not deep and he didn't cry much, but I feel awful. I wish I could wrap him in bubble wrap and make him wear a helmet.
I hope you get the job!
lia1303, I should have taken advantage of the nice day yesterday, but we had friends over for a couple of hours, and then we napped after they left. It's really nice again today, and I want to take Cam out for a walk at some point but I don't know if I can get out of the office. I might go for a quick run after work...can't let that extra hour of evening daylight go to waste!
pharmtechmom, I'm sorry you guys are having a tough time. I hope N feels better soon and things get easier! Update on your weekend?
Did any of you guys see this on the news? The fact that 3 separate officers heard an adult calling out for help gave me the goosebumps. I'm so glad they were able to get the baby out.

mosy for the most part our weekend went well. He wants to nurse all night and he's currently attacking me because I won't let him nurse. Crunchy gave me some great advice though. It's just a struggle right now because of the teething.

Thanks everyone. I think the potential new job would offer a better opportunity in the long run. Right now, I like my current job, so if they don't offer the position, no big deal. I just feel like my current job, I sit at a desk all day with my headphones in and do "behind the scenes stuff." The new position would be more interaction with people, and I feel like that would better suit my personality. Not to mention it would a nice pay increase. I just have to weigh my options though. I have a very cool manager who stays out of our way and lets us do our thing, so as long as the job is getting done, she's cool. So she's like the opposite of a micromanager.
As for my DS, I just got an update from MIL. He ate a little for lunch, and took a nice nap. She said he only had one dirty diaper, but at least had some wet diapers. I get so nervous about dehydration. There is nothing I hate more on earth than having my baby be sick.

A friend of mine has a child that has been giving her a hard time when it comes to eating. She showed me the new plate she got to help. Check it out, might come in handy in the future when our kids start to understand reasoning. I hope the link works. If not, it's called "Dinner winner" plate.

Hugs! I speak from experience - it takes a long time for them to become dehydrated. Last month when Lillie was so sick she was only having one teeny pee pee diaper a day. We ended up taking her to the ER for fluids and even with the one small pee per day they didn't think she was severely dehydrated but agreed that she did need fluids.
White grape juice was recommended to us by several people - from doctors and nurses to seasoned moms. Try it!
