DS's neck is getting stronger and has been able to hold his head up for longer. Also, he's been more interested in looking at his environment and is tracking better with his eyes. It's so awesome watching his development even when they're little milestones at this young.
I took Jericho out in a homemade mei tei, and got a ton of compliments! He loved it, and it worked so well for us. It was great to see that I can still create and do activities I love, while being a mom.
I have gotten me and both kids out of the house and to daycare and work on time for the last 3 weeks! Plus, I haven't had a mental breakdown!
Also, DS has started to get the biggest smiles when my DD comes over to him and gives him kisses. There is truly nothing better.
Wow, getting to work on time...what's that like?? I have totally forgotten. Thankfully I have my prep time at the beginning of the day so no one has said anything.
My proud momma moment: We were dropping DH off at school and S has got the routine down. When we pulled into the parking lot she looked at DH (who was in the back with her) and said "Bye bye, Daddy!" She knew and we were just amazed.

I love it when they start to figure those things out. Good job S!
As for getting to work on time. I will admit that it has helped that DD has been teething and waking up way before her normal time. This prevents me from snoozing and forces me to get ready faster than I would if she were sleeping. Once she goes back to sleeping in later I'm sure I will go back to strolling in late
( puglife5869 I secretly kind of like when button wakes up early - like, 6:45 instead of 7:30) because it helps us get our asses out of bed and get to work on time!)
Proud momma moment: after a "scare" at an 18mo appointment when the dr said he's not saying enough words, I love to look at the list we keep now - we're closing in on 25!!

I remember worrying about that at 18 months also. Then I made a list and discovered she had a lot more than I thought. I'm glad that you are feeling better about it now. Button will be using sentences before you know it!
