Hey, I found this site on Pinterest. What do the experienced gardeners think? I think I want to try it since I'm just starting out and it will only cost me a few seeds. I had planned on just planting most of them in the ground or containers they would grow in, but it sounds fun to start now instead of waiting until April.
I tried it once. In California it wasn't worth the effort. I decided against doing it here in Colorado because while we have had some very cold temps and snow we have also had some very spring-like temperature spikes so I thought the seedlings might get confused and grow too much too early, then freeze and die. This might not be an issue in an area where temps are more consistent from one day to the next.

Seems pretty cool. I think something like that would work well in my climate - but I don't have a warm spring to get them started in... so I feel like I'd have to start them inside and then transition out. Then again I feel like that is reworking the process - so maybe I'd just need to trust the process. Fuck... a personal issue of mine to begin with.
