Has anyone been on this?
I was prescribed and have been taking 1 mg each night before bed, since Thursday. I have been sleeping great, but I am majorly drowsy during the day. I'm pretty sure it's the klonopin because I didn't start the fluoxetine until yesterday morning. I know drowsiness is normal, but will this fade with time? It's working wonders on my anxiety, but I can't stop yawning! Tell me I'll get used to this.
I have a followup appt next week, so I plan to stick to the 1 mg til then, but I may ask my dr if I can split the pill in two and just take 0.5 mg at night. Anyone else have any experience with this drug?

Usually 10 pm.
ETA: I have been sleeping beautifully. And my anxiety In the morning is much much better, so it's working. I'm just trying to see how much longer it'll take for my system to adjust to the drowsiness. Maybe I should take it earlier In the evening?
I used to abuse it (addict here) so Im not much help. Sorry. Hope you feel less drowsy in the am. Maybe take it around 9pm like PP said and go from there.
It is definitely easily abused. It's the only medication I've ever been pulled off of by a doctor. I actually had an issue with the fast melt wafers. I ended up being switched to Ambien to help me stay asleep. As long as your use is monitored it can still be a great medication to reduce anxiety and help you sleep.

I took it a few times when I was prescribed Prozac. I really felt like a zombie the next day, even though it help me sleep, I couldn't shake the zombie feeling, and thus stop taking it.
But I might be the wrong person to ask, SSI and I don't have a good history-

This is exactly what I'm on, klonopin and Prozac. I'm willing to give it a fair shake, but the drowsiness is wearing on me. Today is a little better because I took it at 9 instead of 10.
