Age: 4 months 1 week
Milestones: Sitting without support for short periods, scooting around a bit more, pulling herself around her exosaucer, tried rice cereal and helped hold and direct the spoon, rolled over in her sleep, trying to crawl in her sleep (weird but true).
Challenges: Wanting to be held more and crying during the day for short periods, still not sleeping well, gets bored easily but it's rainy here so we can't do much. So much here is outside or for older children. Trying to stay busy is hard.
Funny/cute stories: Yesterday I went to postnatal yoga with her. We did this song where we picked them up and wooshed them up and down, "marched" left and right in the air, and then wooshed them up and down again. She LOVED it and started laughing and squealing. It was so cute.
How are you? Tired. Sleeping weird is starting to hurt my hips, back, and shoulders. So ready for DH's Spring Break in a week and a half. We are celebrating our anniversary on Saturday, but haven't picked anything to do yet. Everything that sounds fun would take too long. Lillian refuses a bottle so we really cant be gone more than 3-3.5 hours. Everything we want to do takes 4-5 hours. Trying to find shorter alternatives, but I think we'll end up just eating out for dinner. I'm really disappointed.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to doing with your little one(s) this spring? Taking her to The Wildflower Center and taking bluebonnet pictures!
