We're up for the day. Too early. No school which is good in one way (dont have to get dressed & deal with going) & bad in that no school (for mommy's little break.)

My hours changed for my work day today because they have a delay. So now I go in an hour later than planned because I follow the elementary schedule instead of the secondary schedule. It's complicated, but now I have to work later and was looking forward to getting out earlier and not contending with busses.

It's 4am and my husband got woken up by a work call. They weren't even suppose to be calling this early because it's not an emergency, but he did the thing for them anyway.
This was the first night in weeks I had fallen asleep before midnight and had uninterrupted sleep so I'm pretty pissed.

I gave DS some cereal & he's finding any little hole/gap in his cars & trucks to put some in instead of eating. (He doesn't like it with milk so it's dry bit still..)

Happy Anniversary! Will you maybe be able to do something special later tonight?
DD finally gave in and fell asleep at midnight only to wake up at 8am. Good for me because I can give her a nap at the normal time and bad because I didn't get much time to relax after she went to sleep.
DSs friend came over yesterday. We're friends with his parents. When they dropped him off they just dropped him at the end of the driveway. When they picked him up they just texted and said, "on our way" and then honked. They didn't come in or say thank you for keeping our son for 6 hours. It bugs me.

I woke up at 545. Then fell back asleep at 7 until 815. And now I feel like crap. I swear I would feel less crappy if I had just gotten up at 545. For some reason going back to sleep when I wake up earlier makes me feel more tired!
