My husband is on a roll! I don't know what's gotten into him, but he gave the baby a bath night before last, then last night he agreed to a family walk (something I love but he does not), and THEN he cleaned up after dinner. When I told him how much I appreciated his help, he said he thought he'd do it so I could spend more time with my daughter!! He *almost* made me want to DTD!

The milk amount change in the. bottles worked like a charm. He is going 4 hours between feedings. I was annoyed with MIL today. I am not sure why but I just did not want to talk to her. I think it is because everytime I would talk she would interupt. I am so tired and can barely keep my eyes open. DH decided to ask when did we want to start TTC #2. Dude is crazy!
zengal Brownie points for your husband! Yeah I feel the same about DTD...it's just not as alluring now as it used to be! Hope that changes soon.
It's supposed to be almost 90 here today! Geez! Hubs is on a day trip to Vegas for work...MIL and FIL are coming over tonight and bringing something for dinner. Maybe I'll finally get a chance to open the two packages I received on Monday!
I haven't been on here much lately. Hope everyone is doing well. I can't believe LO is 4 months already. I have been back at work for 1 month. LO is adjusting to daycare very well. The teachers love him. He is a very happy baby.
He was big at birth and continues to be big. He is in 6 month clothes so I have been boxing up all the too small clothes. I think that I need to go shopping and buy more clothes. We have a lot of hand-me-downs from his cousin but the 6-9 month clothes are for warm weather. There aren't many long sleeved shirts or pants, just dozens of short sleeved onesies.

zengal - that's awesome regarding your Dh! I took lo to my Sil's swim school yesterday. She gave him 2 pairs of reusable diaper style swim trunks that are soooo cute!! He LOVED the water & floated on his back like a champ. I just wish her school was not an hour away. So I'm going to look into something closer. Her pool is saline so you don't smell like chlorine. The only downside was that I had to wear a bathing suit (yikes!!) Hope everyone is having. Good Wednesday!!

ninergirl52 What is the brand of the swim trunks? Wonder if the same brand makes something for girls. We have a pool and I want to get LO in it once it's warm enough!
I'm working. It's a gorgeous day outside too, so BOO to work today.
I'm working with a coworker I don't typically work with and she drives me nuts. She's in too much of a hurry for me, but I've noticed that she avoids certain things too. IDGAF really, but FFS this is the slower clinic and IMO I should have to do less over here since I run my ass off every other day at work LOL, so quit avoiding certain things coworker!
I haven't had much time lately to post a bunch. The weather has been beautiful and we have been taking advantage. H and I did a business meeting at a local cafe and we brought liam. He was an angel! I couldn't believe it. We have been apprehensive about taking him out to eat, but we were there for almost 3 hours. He laughed, played, ate his bottle, etc. Was awesome. I think we will try to start bringing him out more.
I have antigravity yoga tonight and am super excited. Had so much fun with it last week. 18/a class doesn't make it easy on the budget though.
Also, big news is we may or may not be moving soon! Only problem is that our business office is literally 2 minutes away from where we live currently. Lots to think about.

Anyone using the Medela PISA? I just pumped for 30 minutes, and still felt full on one side...so I hand expressed...another... .75 ounces! WTF? Hmm maybe I should have put this in the WTF thread?
ETA: I just changed the membranes on Monday. I've checked online and they suggest opening the face plate to check the stuff underneath, but I'm afraid I'm going to break the face plate when I put pressure on it.
calimomof1 I'm using a PISA and sometimes feel like more could have been expressed, never thought to check the face plate though! Maybe there's something on YouTube with a step by step on how to do that?
I use the Pisa and sometimes still feel full too! In fact, I changed the membranes this morning! Check the face plate though-- what are we checking for?

I read this as 75 ounces and my eyes were bugging out of my head. Yeah, I guess you'd feel full at that point! Ha ha.
I am so grateful for warm weather and crocuses that I can't even express it. OMG.

I completely forgot to mention, it's date night! My Mom is going to watch Isaac while we go see a movie then we will eat dinner at home with DS after. I am making lazy baked ziti.
I just started having issues with my PISA and the faceplate! I didn't actually realize the faceplate could effect suction, etc, until I started reading stuff about it online last night. Mine seems to be coming a little loose sometimes and then the pump makes weird noises and suction lessens or stops. UGH. As if pumping wasn't annoying enough!
calimomof1 I haven't removed it—it seemed to come loose on its own. I couldn't even quite figure out how to see where it attaches. I sort of just pushed on it (from the front) and it seemed to mostly resolve the issue, though it started happening a bit again while pumping at work. I've read that Medela has great customer service—they'll troubleshoot with you on the phone and send replacement parts when necessary. Then again, who's got time to be calling a customer service line?!?
Edited to add: I just looked at the troubleshooting link on the Medela site. I guess I need to look harder for the connection points on the back of the faceplate...

ladybird Yeah, finding time to call is hard. Re: diapers. I have the same question. I just assumed it was water-safe versus a regular diaper. I'm not sure how they work.
I was gifted a bunch of cloth diaper stuff from my sister. I may have accidentally used a swim diaper thinking it was a regular diaper. Yeah, it contained the poo but there's definitely liquid transfer, like water gets in and out of there. You just won't have solids floating out.

ladybird & calimomof1 - I had never seen or heard of these swim diapers until my SIL gave them to me. She said they work way better than the disposable ones & keep poop in the diaper. She owns a swim school so I figure she knows what she's talking about. They were very effective.
