I'm a few weeks late jumping from TB, but I started missing the community,so finally made the jump over! Those from TB may remember me as Jenna&Betsy.
A little intro: my wife and I are 35 weeks pregnant with our first child. Our little guy is due 4/20 and we are overjoyed! This week we had a "dress rehearsal" when I went into pre-term labor on Monday. Fortunately, after 8 hours of contractions they were able to stop them. We are now back at home resting and hoping this baby will stay put a few more weeks! We learned several things during this trial run: 1) we can cancel our hospital tour 2) contrary to what I thought, I do NOT want to be touched during contractions 3) my Playlists I created are useless...I wanted it quiet and dark 4) I have no desire to labor at home before heading to the hospital!
I'm glad to be here and look forward to laughing, learning and offering support.
Welcome over! Glad to hear you are home resting. I hope you LO stays in for a bit longer, but when the time comes, I hope that you are able to get the labor and delivery that you want. I will be thinking of you - please keep us posted!
Nice to see you here and thanks for the update. Glad to hear they stopped your contractions and that you are more aware of your wants and don't wants when showtime comes!
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
