I had a massive cyst on the back of my neck drained 2 days ago. I won't go into detail but the pain was actually worse than my c-section. I'm so having a pity party for myself.

DD is so stinking cute. I feel like my heart could explode with pride and love for her.

I kicked DH out 3 weeks ago. He's an alcoholic and I'm done with the cycle. DD and I deserve better. It sucks that other than his drinking he's the perfect husband. So cliche.

DD got a fat lip by pushing a toy truck around daycare yesterday. Poor puddin. Apparently she went right back to pushing the truck after getting hugs and cleaned up. That's my girl!

I accidently transferred DDs daycare monthly fee to the wrong acct number. $1150. I called the bank as soon as I found out and now I have to wait for them to contact the other acct holder and get it sorted. Talk about panic and sweaty palms.

This looks just like a TTT post, just without the numbers. Whoops

I'm eating a fish salad wrap and it's delicious.

I just ordered a starter kit of essential oils from Young Living. I have a lot of friends that swear by them. Im really hoping it will help with my allergies, keep my kids healthy, and everyone sleep better. Effin better cuz I spent a lot of $ but whatevs.....

girlonfire, Sorry about your hubs. DH and I both have been working on cutting out the alcohol. Does nothing but make you feel like crap and act like an ass. Oh except for when you are actually consuming alcohol....then you feel great and happy and not a care in the world. its the devil! hang in there!

girlonfire, wow, I'm sorry about what you're going through with your H. Kicking him out was a huge step - and seeing more than one extended relative deal with this issue, I'm sure it wasn't easy. You need to do what's best for you and your daughter. I really hope you're doing okay.

Interesting news item of the week: I live in a very backward state. I saw a news article that said Virginia JUST THIS WEEK passed a law making it legal for women to breastfeed in public! Apparently prior to that law, it was only legal on commonwealth grounds, but this made it legal everywhere. I guess I shouldn't be surprised - this is the same state government that passed a law requiring women to get an ultrasound before they could have an abortion. The governor, who was admittedly anti-abortion, changed it at the last minute so a woman could opt for an abdominal ultrasound instead of the original written requirement for a transvaginal ultrasound. Gee, thanks?

I'm in desperate need of a shopping trip. I need new sandals for summer and a few more maternity items since my boobs are still huge, and some of the stuff I bought before doesn't look as cute this time around.

DS is saying so many more words. And is to the point where he wants to read the book to me, instead of the other way around. It's adorable, and I seriously can't get enough of that kid.

girlonfire I'm so sorry your having to go through that with your DH. I hope you are doing ok and hope that your DH realizes and gets the help he needs.

joi922 I'm feeling the same way towards my DD. I just look at her in amazement many times a day!  

DD was up in the middle if the night throwing up. I feel so terrible because we usually let her cry for a little while and she normally settles back to sleep on her own so when she woke up crying (it sounded like her normal cry too) around 2am I thought she'd just fall back alseep. Once we hit 20 minutes of in and out crying I went into her room and it STUNK! I just assumed it was a poopy diaper and started prepping to change that, turned a light on and turned to grab her and she was covered in throw up . It was everywhere! It took us a while to get her crib and floor all cleaned up and to let the room air out some, plus a bath. Finally, 45 minutes later I sat back down in her rocker to settle her back down for the night and shr started throwing up on me! Lets just say I'm glad she wasn't back in her crib at that point and I've never been so thankful for hardwood floors (super easy clean up compared to the first episode). Poor girl, I feel bad that I didn't get to her quicker but I guess there's no way I would've known that was going on. She seems better today and is getting lots of mommy cuddles!

I've washed her stuffed dog in the washing machine 3x to try and get the throw up and smell out of it even though its not machine washable. It's mostly gone but has some lingering smell I'd say and I thought about hanging it out in the sun om the next sunny day. Does anyone have any tricks for cleaning these non machine washable items? 

I've started up running again and even bought some really nice running shoes. It feels so good to be able to get outside after this winter! I even set some goals for myself that I'm excited to strive for!

I'm loving this thread since we missed TTT.

My curling team made the league playoffs! Woot!

I also made a Pi Day pie today, and the kids helped.

Officially third trimester over here!! This is so exciting and terrifying!! Haha.

I'm still going to the gym and I'm pretty proud of myself! I hate when people brag about their workouts, but I've surprised myself in my ability to keep active. I hope that it will make getting back to pre-baby shape easier once she's born.

DH turns 30 on Tuesday, so we are having a little party for him this weekend. I hope that he has fun! Up until yesterday he didn't even know if he'd be in town, so I haven't put much effort into anything besides asking people to come.

Like the rest of you, I'm freaking obsessed with my DD. She is so sweet and I feel like she learns something new every single day. I just can't get enough of her, and I'm so excited to meet her little sister now that I realize how capable I am of loving a tiny little person.

@curlingrocks I plan to make a pie for pi day tomorrow. It will be my first allergy friendly pie. I found a refrigerated crust I could use we will see how it goes. What kind did you make?

I just volunteered to be the "involuntary" transfer for my school. I don't know if I made a stupid decision, but this is my way out of this crazy (I rather use another word) school. I will have another position at a different school.

Parents are coming in two weeks. I'm excited. I get some help with DS. DH isn't too much help. All he does is go to school and study. Study. Study. So I get little or no time to lesson plan. There is no true ESOL curriculum so I need to reinvent the wheel everyday.

DS loves music and dancing. We have a dance party every night.

girlonfire - I'm sorry you are going through a tough situation with your H. Good for you for having the balls to so what's best for you and your child!! Not many people can do that. I can relate on a small level - I feel as though my H drinks to much. Not an alcoholic but a heavy drinker for sure. It's hard to be the complete sober one all the time. It's a constant topic of conversation as well as arguments between us.
I hope things get better for you!!

Here's my random - I am addicted to the Divergent series right now! I came across the movie on accident about a month ago. I enjoyed it so I got the book. Read and liked it and now I'm tearing through second book I got 2 days ago. I can't put it down! Hard to do though with a toddler...
I'm excited because I haven't really been reading since DD arrived. The second movie comes out this month - in thinking it's a date night option for sure!!

girlonfire I'm sorry for what you're going through and will keep your family in my prayers.

DD is so sick!! She had 5 liquid diapers in 3 hours and then started vomiting. It's been going on all night and I'm exhausted (and disgusted). DH is no help at all! Really hoping she and I can rest soon

girlonfire-- I can't imagine how hard of a decision that was for you, but I'm so impressed that you put your family first and did what you had to do. You are one tough woman and a great mom!

My random for today- We just went to a pre-St. Patrick's day parade brunch and it was nice to see friends and watch DD interact with other kids. She doesn't get to spend much time with them and really needs to learn better social skills...She pushes them around like she does our black lab!

My last day at my old job was Friday. My boss made me cry and I felt sad to leave. It's giving me reservations about the decision but the plan is that the new job is less hours. It's a huge change for me and a pay cut so I'm feeling both nervous and excited.

Random: H and I have become re-addicted to Mario for the Wii.

Prayers please: I get observed for my current teaching position tomorrow by my new supervisor. Wish me luck and say prayers! I'm always nervous being observed!

DH isn't drunk daily but drinks enough (from 2x a week to once every other week) that I can't rely on him, lies to me and drives drunk All The Time. Totally unacceptable behavior.
