Hi all! I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. Tiffany pointed me to this site from a facebook group!! I'm Lindsay and my little girl is 3.5 weeks old (seriously love that I count the .5 ). She is the best, cutest little thing and eats a TON All.the.time.
Anyway a little about me. My husband and I are both 27 and grew up in the northern Cincinnati suburbs. We just bought a house in west chester. I work in mason as a project manager and am currently on maternity leave for 8 more weeks. It's flying by!! I enjoy golfing, running, shopping and am trying to get into cooking, couponing and meal planning. Any tips there??

Ah what?! mrscatfarmer13 a hole has been poked in your theory haha. We love the lady Tiffany! And btw lindsay I used to hard core coupon, binder and everything...not so much anymore tho.
Thanks for the welcomes! Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Someone tell me the witching hour(s) pass soon.... My LO has been on and off crying for 3 hours except for when she's been eating... I feel like we have tried everything. She is going for a drive (and to pick up wine for mama- if they can make it that far) right now with my husband. I still hear her poor cry in the back of my head even though it's completely quiet.
Oh, it definitely will pass! Hang in there! Hopefully the drive will do the trick. I remember lots of that in the early days. Yay for DH going to get Mommy's happy juice

I haven't had any wine since JUNE when I found out I was pregnant... Waaay overdue. Not sure when I'll find a long enough stretch of time between feeding LO to have a glass...

Hang in there, she's probably in the middle of a growth spurt. I know it's hard when you just want to sleep, but enjoy the extra snuggles, they don't last nearly long enough.
Drink the wine while you feed her. (Assuming you BF) It's safest because it takes a while to get into your milk and that gives you the most time for it to be out of your system for the next feeding, and also to be nice and relaxed before she starts crying again. :-)

It will definitely pass. Those first few months are rough. It was hell for me. I would just cry while DD cried. And she loved to cluster feed. So I felt like she was on the boob allllll the time. It's very cliche advice but it will get better!
And yes to what one of the PP's said...drink a glass of wine WHILE you nurse and you won't have to worry.

[brwouldnt have thought of that- thanks for the advice! This is happening today or else. Lol

Took your advice and had the glass of wine while BFing on Saturday... It was aaaamazing. Nothing ever tasted so good!

Yay! What kind of wine was it? (Just curious)
A good rule to remember is if you're ok to drive, you're OK to feed. So don't ever feel guilty about one glass, even if it's closer to a feeding!
