This may seem like a redundant topic, if so I am sorry and feel free to flame and/or post pics of your success!
Anyway, I'm normally hanging with June 15', never gardened before but have a wedding invitation that has wildflowers in them from last year that I want to plant. My mother says spring is good to plant part of the invite, but wont give me much more help.
I'm in Ohio and live in an apartment....any good tips on how a newbie can plant these beautiful flowers? Also, do wildflowers come back every year?
Do you have a balcony where you could put a pot? That's probably what I would do.
The plantable paper doesn't have instructions? Whenever I've gotten plantable paper there's been a little blurb on the back with the specific directions for that type. If you can't find specific directions for your invitation, I believe normally you soak the paper overnight, then put it in a pot/on the ground, and cover with a bit of soil.
As for whether they come back each year, it will depend on the species. I believe most wild flowers will self seed and you'll get flowers again next year, but I can't promise!

Thanks ladies!
I've planted seed paper in pots before and they grew ok. If the paper was planted outside in a garden they might reseed but I really don't think they'll come back in a pot.

Thanks ladies! The invitation just says plant and water. I thought the pot would be best option as I do have a balcony. I just didn't know if outside first or inside first would work better.
