Another Idea? Thankful Thursday?

I'm down!

Today, specifically, I was thankful to see a friend at work I haven't seen in months. It was wonderful to hear how she is doing and share some stories and pics of my little guys with her. I haven't see her since DS2 was born.

I'm also thankful my wife has been willing to step outside her comfort zone and allow me to do what I love. I know it's hard for her and no matter what I'm going through, it's nice to know she's got my back; even if I don't always share (or sometime even know) what I'm feeling.

Definitely a good idea! It goes on in a couple of the boards. It makes me happy because I can scatter all the things I am thankful for, haha!
I'm thankful for:

meds that help me feel like my best self
the safety of my neighborhood
DH being so financially responsible and taking care of us so well
the weather warming up

I'm thankful that the allergy shots I've been taking for the past 10 months seem to be working! I'm allergic to cats (I have 2 cats) so it's nice not waking up and needing my inhaler every day.

Today I am thankful for my munchkin. He turned 3 yesterday and I've been reflecting a lot on the past 3 years. It's been such a joy to watch him grow up, and he's so much fun. I love him so!

So I really want to post for last week, because I never can say this enough:
I am very thankful for my wonderful partner. He's 'kid at Christmas' excited about the wedding and is doing his absolute best to make sure I can move past the anxiety (and perfectionism) and be excited too.

So it's Tuesday not Thursday, but I just accomplished something and I'm thankful!!!!

I just paid off 2 credit cards. It's 1/3 of my credit card debt. Still 2/3s to go, but still it was a LARGE chunk. And I can't wait until the payment clears and I can see zero balances on those two suckas! Finances cause me a LOT of stress. BF's finances are a mess, and we're working on his too, but I'm proud I got these 2 paid off. Now for the next 2, which will take about a year, but they're going DOWN babay.

I think we can just post on here whichever day we are thankful, because I feel like I'm thankful for something new every day

Today I'm thankful for DH's new job opportunity and possibly a new future for our family.

Today I'm thankful for the two awesome pictures of LO 2.0 my wife sent me. On a rough day, it's always nice to have those little reminders of why I do what I do.

I'm a little biased but dude is freakin' adorable! He must get it from his mama

I'm late. I was so ready for Thankful Thursday and I got so busy yesterday. BUT here's my list since it was all ready:

I'm thankful for:

(1)Meds that keep me sane(r) and have lessened the number of tension headaches and migraines I've had just in the last two months. My anxiety levels clearly were contributing to the pain.

(2)A really supportive boyfriend who is an awesome dad, encourager, and listener. He's been through so much, but he's been my rock these last few months and kind to me even when I'm not with myself. He reminds me to self care.

(3)Parents who understand their really smart, type A, street-savvy daughter didn't lose her mind, but just needed to find better methods to cope. There's been no judgment from either of them regarding my need for therapy or meds or my plans to job search.

(4)A job that pays the bills. Yes, I'm thankful for my job. There are still some good things about working here.

(5)That I'm breathing and living today and on the way to being and feeling like myself again.

That's it! That's my list.
