Hi everyone!
Hope y'all are doing well. I just wanted to run by a quick format for the goals thread. I was thinking something along the lines of stating what the goal is, whether it is short or long term, why it is important to us, and how we are going to accomplish it/what steps we are taking to get to the goal. You can be as discrete or as detailed as you like. Then the following week we can just paste what goal we wrote and say how we did, whether that be we accomplished it, didn't accomplish it, made steps forward, or changed plans. Here's an example for Monday:
Goal #1: Eat 100 calorie breakfast
Short or long term? Short
Why is it important? Breakfast is an important meal to start my day and I need to fuel my body appropriately for all of my activities.
How am I going to accomplish it? Make a meal plan of 3 different breakfast options and alternate them throughout the week.
Then the following Monday you can list your old goals and an update, followed by any new goals you might want to set:
Goal #1: Eat 100 calorie breakfast
I was able to accomplish my goal on most days, but was not feeling confident on Tuesday and Wednesday. I think it was because I was triggered by weighing myself too frequently, which means I need to get rid of my scale as soon as possible. I will keep working on this goal for next week.
Goal #2: Have 2 carb servings per day
Short or long term?
Why is it important?
How am I going to accomplish it?
**************
That's what I have so far. PLEASE let me know if you are not comfortable with this or have other suggestions. I don't want to be pushy or force anyone to share anything they don't want to, especially because this is not a password protected board yet. I hope y'all find this helpful and I'm sorry again if I'm asking for too much. Thank you so much!
