What did you get/give to LO that you found particularly cool or that he/she really has taken to lately? (For birthday or if you have a shopping problem like me, for no plain good reason at all!!)
E got a water table. She loves it. Everyone else bought her clothes which kinda disappointed me bc I wanted to see her play. We had to hide the water table bc it has been to cool out to play in it. When she sees it she cries if we don't take her to it.

What kind of water table? I keep my eyes out for a good deal on one.

Jillian got a chair with her name on it. I don't think its the PB Chair I hear so much about but its the same idea. I'm pretty sure its foam (which is fine). She looks cute sitting it in. My sister embroidered it herself with Jillian's name on it. Love that machine that she has!

T loves all the toys lately! But the V-tech monkey in a barrel that spits out balls is a favorite, and the VTech tree house, and stuffed animals lately....and balls. All balls. Round, football, o-ball, etc. He's obsessed.

Am I the only one whose LO still doesn't seem to be that interested in toys? She is still more interested in going all over the place and seeing what trouble she can get into (trying to climb on stuff, take things apart, and chew on everything) :-P Sometimes it makes me a little sad, because most of the times I sit and try to play with her she usually shows little interest, and just ends up crawling off somewhere.
T isn't super into toys. She will play and can be highly involved, but still loves exploring the best.
wildhoney4508 the second link didn't work for me - what is it?
T's birthday is today, so I'm hoping she gets more than clothes. We didn't get her anything, because I figure we'd see what she got first - then shop if needed.

g33kyg1rly LO was that way for a while, mostly when she first started crawling. Although she is an avid crawler and climbs on EVErYThING and just generally likes to be a little stinker, she's starting to play w toys now. Maybe bc she's bored w her rebellion?? Lol not sure...she does both, plus she is trying to keep up with her big sis's playing skills so there's that

Honestly, Noah is only interested in taking his brother's toys away. As long as his brother touches it first, it's the best toy ever! If not he just ignores it

DS has really gotten into his toys more the last few days. Today he figured out how to stack the stacking rings, stacking cups, and put the coins in the fisher price piggy bank.

DS is like this. He has gotten a little more interested in toys, but mostly he wants things he can't have.
LO LOVES books right now. the kind with fur/Velcro/whatever (pat the bunny style) is his favorite. This activity table is hands-down the BEST toy we own: www.walmart.com/ip/38236302?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227027832185&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=45287459072&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=88656107552&veh=sem hours of entertainment! (we don't have the dog) he never gets tired of it, and it's sturdy enough he can pull himself up using it. he also loves his little ride-on toys. he's got a Thomas the tank engine, a fire engine, and a rescue plane from Disney's 'plane rescue' movie.
this is LO's favorite touch and feel book: www.amazon.com/Alphabet-Paula-Wiseman-Books-Matthew/dp/1416955658 anything by matthew van fleet is fantastic! Here is LO's all time favorite book:http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=nonsters%20in%20color it's such a simple book but something about it must really appeal to him. he beyond loves it!

My parents gave my son a Little Helper stand for the Kitchen. We are always in there and now he just stands there with his own cookware and play food. He can was his dishes in the sink. It's an awesome way to spend time together.
