1. I'm sad dh isn't coming to the family event. I hope he doesn't make escaping to the lake sand family a pattern. 2. I love my job. Yesterday my co workers played a prank and hid my boots. 3. The same group earlier in the day bought me donuts because "I'm still eating for 2" 4. The snow flurry yesterday reaply threw me off. I want sunny and warm back! The weekend was a tease! 5. DD saw an aquarium commercial and was really intrigued. Even though she's super young I'm thinking about going soonish. Is that silly? 6. 4 month dr apt is on Friday. I'm sure I could google it... but will she get shots? After the intensity that was the aftermath of 2 Month shots I should probably plan to work from home? 7. Why do baby fingernails grow so quick! I get them clipped and filed down and two days later they're talons again. My boobs look like a cat attacked me! 8. has anyone traveled for work while bf-ing? I've gotten several travel requests for work and said no because it just seems too hard. I have one coming up end of May that I may not be able to decline. 9. All 10. Out.

1) I never traveled for work, bit lots on my old bmb did. Lots of pumping in airports, but it worked out great for them. 2) DS was up at 5:30.....not cool. 3)luckily today not much going on so there will be naps happening. 4)The engineer that came out to look at the house we are buying says the concerns have nothing to do with the structure itself. Yay! 5) now to see if the seller will drop his price at all so we can get the repairs done. 6)I started eating nice while pregnant.....now I can't stop. I never did it before. 7)I seriously need to shower. 8)I need to grocery shop..... 9) somethings gotta give lol 10)happy Tuesday!

1. I'm sad your DH isn't coming as well! 2. Wish I could say the same. 4. Ditto! 6. Yes, my DD got shots at her 4 month. 7. Same! So this. Super frustrating. 8. I haven't traveled yet. Have turned down 3 different opps to travel for work for the very same reason!

I don't have a full 10 things to go yet today so I'll just leave you all with these 2:
1. In case anyone was wondering, just as I'd imagined, that one night that DD STTN was just that...one night. Total fluke. We're back to waking and eating at least twice a night. Yay. 2. I'll probably be pretty MIA from the boards today. Way too much to do here at work. if you see me, it's because I need a much deserved break!
@narbuckle I've been taking my squish to the aquarium with sstwinklinglites since he was maybe 6 months? Does that sound right sstwinklinglites? They would nap or look around. But we liked it and it was a way to get out of the house.
chunkymonkeylvr have you checked the public records to see what the owners paid for their house? That will give you some idea of whether or not they can move their price or are trying to come out even on it. I can't remember the website, but it's something that publishes real estate sale prices, you just put in the address. If there are repairs needed, I would personally ask the owners to come down or give you a check. Unless they already priced those repairs in the asking price
ladytiffany24 are you going to try any type of sleep method? Just wondered if your kid is like mine and thinks he can beat any form of sleep training. It finally took at 10 months, everyone knock on wood.

kentonpva.com > Search Property Records> Click for free access
You can see what the current tax value, as well as info for previous years and owners.
*I'm assuming the home is in kenton co since you said it's close to your current one.
narbuckle01, If the aquarium is something that you'll enjoy as well, definitely take her! I took Bub when he was about 5 months old. He was too little to really express his feelings on it, but he was wide-eyed looking at everything, and couldn't stay awake through the whole thing. The first time we walked into one of those underwater tunnels he squealed, which was shocking because he really didn't laugh much at that point.

1. Yes, there are vaccines at four months.
2. Baby fingernails... when my body is found, cause of death will be listed as, death by baby fingernails.
3. I have two work trips coming up... maybe, it all depends on if I accept them or not. I think I will. I don't BF / pump, but I've never spent a night away from DS.
4. becole - I think it was more like around fourish months. Yep, it was. If I remember correctly, first time we took them was in Sept. @narbucle01 - I'd be happy to join you at the aquarium. becole and I both got yearly passes to take the babes.
5. DS threw up on me last week; if that's what it's called. It seemed like maybe he got food in his throat and was trying to clear it, and up it came. That's all I thought of it. But this morning, I gave him his bottle in the nursery, then as I was holding him just spending a little time there with him, he did it again. This is def. more than spit up, but not quite, the whole bottle of formula... probably not even half the bottle. My gut tells me it's really nothing, but I don't know if I should put a call in to the pedi.
5. My back is still killing me. A massage is in order, stat.
6. Wtf is happening to the weather? No, seriously, wtf?
7. DH is going OOT today for work, and doesn't get back until Fri. So I'll be eating microwavable crap the rest of the week. Fat chance I'll cook just for me.

JoBub & becole thanks! It is totally happening then. Maybe Sunday... that might be overly ambitious considering Saturday's events. We'll see. sstwinklinglites I would love company!!

6.) Yes there are shots at the 4month:( but my DD wasn't as bad as she was at the 2month. I gave her 1/2 dose of Tylenol before and half dose after. 7.) I know!! My DD rips apart my chest while BF with those nails. Ugh. I had scabs at one point.
1. LO is 1 today! 2. He celebrated by waking up twice and then getting up early. 3. Many meetings today so I may just be lurking. 4. Starting a Diet Bet after the NCAA tournament. Losing motivation and I need a jump start.
More to come later. . .
narbuckle01 - I don't remember the shots being as bad after the first round. I think they can also handle the shock of getting the injection as they get older. Never traveled and BF, but I've heard of others requesting a mini fridge at the hotel they stay at and you should get it with no additional charge since it is for a health/medical reason.
becole - Do you all do the 2 or 3 layers of sheets and mattress pads? Basically sheet, mattress pad, sheet, mattress pad, sheet, mattress pad. It saved me a couple of nights when LO got sick and when his diaper leaked and all I had to do was rip off the top layer.
2. Baby fingernails... when my body is found, cause of death will be listed as, death by baby fingernails.

8. I've been in a vary blah mood since yesterday.
9. My. Back. Hurts.
10. Edit: To correct a tag.
5.) YES! Massage now! I haven't had one in too long! 9.) my back is killing me too. Ugh

We did at one point but it was making his bed really hot and he wasn't having many leaks. It wouldn't have helped much last night since we had to turn on all the lights to clean the baby head to toe! It was a bad one.
My 10 things: 1. My cat took a pee in DD's crib!!! Ugh! My cats have never been known to act out, even with our 10+ moves they always adapt better than I do! This better stop. 2. Still worn out from friends and family visiting for 5days! Yay, but wow I'm tired of entertaining. 3. DD is so much more fun now that she's 5months:) 4. Tired of the changes in weather too. 5. Feels like it's been forever since I've been on here--I need to catch up on what I've missed, updates etc 6. I have a list a mile long for Target today. 7. Starbucks is on that list. 8. I didn't want to get out of the shower today. 9. DH was notified by the CEO and CFO of the company in Chicago to talk about his finance career. So he's headed to Chicago tomorrow to meet with the top executives. Just when I thought we were staying here for at least a few years! We shall see what that's all about! 10. I'm moving verrrrry slowly today.
narbuckle01, I traveled several times for work back when I was EP. It's not the easiest thing, but totally doable if you are committed. When you go through security just tell the agent you have medical liquids. They pull you off to the side and it literally takes about an extra three minutes. They pull out your mini cooler with the BM and swab the outside to detect explosives. They do NOT open or disturb the milk.
The tricky part is keeping the BM on ice. The agents are not forgiving for a melted ice pack or slushy ice bag. They want solid ice, which is impossible if you are hours into your travel day! What I did was begin wherever I was in the morning with ziploc bags of ice cubes in the cooler...Dump them right before entering security (keep the bags).... Then hit up a food place right after security and get a cup of ice to refill the bags.
Pumping on the go is a bit more uncomfortable than typical workplace, but just go to your happy place the same way you would... Look at pics of LO, etc. I've pumped in multiple airport bathrooms and even the backseat of a NYC taxi. Not fun, but keep your eye on the prize so to speak and you'll be good!
I don't have the energy to post 10 things, I so need to get caught up on everything since I've been gone.
But, here's a few:
1. I will not be traveling again with DD anytime soon. 2. She does not like being in a car seat or even a stroller for too long. 3. Maybe when she's walking, she'll travel better bc she'll be more independent?? (I can only hope). 4. Also, we all probably know this, but never travel with your MIL! 5. I have so much laundry to catch up, and sleep...zzz
And to anyone else thinking of work trips.... Do it! sstwinklinglites, ladytiffany24 .... Not only is a little time away good for you to recharge, but it give husbands a chance to walk a mile in your shoes. My DH has always been awesome at helping with DS, but after I went away for the first time it got even better. He flat out said he gained a new appreciation for what I do and how I'm able to juggle caring for LO and taking care of things around the house. It was a good thing all around!

Timely to hear for me since my boss offered an overnight trip in May. I would like to, but... I have never been away from my baby and I have this image in my mind of him screaming mama mama over and over because I'm not around... And i don't know if Lo will be weaned and I don't want to pump or force weaning.

I wish I was confident that he would do this... I know he would order pizza every night and 0 dishes and laundry would get done. Plus with MIL staying with us recently he has been helping out with LO even less. He has been picking up other tasks mind you, but he is taking full advantage of the extra help.
1. jmebormann ugh I hope the cat pee was a fluke! Cat pee is THE.WORST. 2. DD was up for a solid 3-4 hrs in the middle of the night last night... For no real reason it seemed- ate on and off but was just fussy overall. Where'd my eat burp sleep overnight babe go? 3. Wasn't on much yesterday, spent most of my day organizing DDs room. It was pretty much a storage room since we moved a month ago, so it's nice to have it look cute and presentable! 4. Married at first sight anyone? It's on tonight. I think it's the wedding episode for all the couples. 5. Going shopping at the outlet mall today.. Anyone have a favorite type of shirt or dress for BFing and pumping? I am thinking button ups will be convenient, but not sure I'll have luck finding ones to fit my boobs. 6. Decided on our sitter for when I return to work. She seems awesome and it's right down the road from my work. I'd love to go feed her at lunch and get some snuggles! 7. ladytiffany24 it's the sitter you referred me to... Thank you so much! 8. Need to stop eating smores pop tarts... 9. Of course DD is sleeping like a precious angel now after eating. Of course. Lol 10. That's all.

becole and mrscatfarmer13. Thanks for the link and Information. It's actually campbell co, but I just plugged that in.
Unfortunately the owner purchased the land in 1987 and built his house in 2000. So not only is there to go off of but appraisal and the owners heart is super invested. It's marked amazingly well for size and land, so we might just have to eat the changes that need to be made.
