mrscatfarmer13 yes! So this. I always feel so judged no matter how well I feel like I've done with my teeth between visits.
The dentist is awkward. They're so close and it's like what do I do with my tongue? Does my breath stink? My spit is all in there because I can't swallow. Just yuck. I try to think that I can't be the worse teeth they've seen. Just keep thinking that. You don't have the worst teeth they've seen.

Ok, so I came up with a legitimate #10 for my list:
10. I want to TTC. I feel crazy for thinking this. First I wanted to wait until DS was three to TTC, but we want three kids, and DH said he doesn't want to be into his 40's by the time we're done having them. So then I thought we'll try when DS is two. Which, if all goes as planned, we should have all our kids before DH is 40. But now, I feel gripped by this fear that I'm going to be 3T, and we need to get started right away. Calm me down ladies.

Would spending the night with one of the newborns change your mind, and make you wanna wait a little longer? Lol I'm still in the "I'm never going through the newborn stage again. I can't take the lack of sleep" phase. So I know I'll want another when DD is 3, but if you ask me now, I'm fine with one.
That sounds like a load of manure. Unless their equipment is from 1985, it just doesn't seem right especially for people with really bad problems with their gums and nerves.
I got to an awesome doc on Dixie near the ft. Mitchell Kroger. He uses the water pick but it's never been cold. Who uses ice cold water on teeth? P
Cincinnati Dental in Edgewood, that's who. we have a DHMO so my dentist options are pretty limited, but I may check if that office is in my network. Otherwise, I may check out my dentist's other office. Dh goes to the Florence office and he hasn't had any complaints and he was so scared of the dentist it took me over 5 years to get him to see one.
Yes babylove 10 months of sleep deprivation and many months of getting 3-4 hours of interrupted sleep/ night. I really want to enjoy sleeping a little bit. Selfish or self preservation?

3. I just got a reminder call about my dentist appointment tomorrow. I'd almost forgot about it. I am terrified. Hate the dentist and I haven't gone in over a year so that makes me even more afraid of what the experience will be like. On a side note, please don't judge me. The length of time between this and my last dentist appt is pretty much due to moving out of state, starting a new job, getting pregnant, having a baby, building and moving into a new house. I had a lot on my plate. And to this very second, I'm still contemplating possible excuses of why I can't go to my appt tomorrow.
No judging from me either... I went two years because I got mad that they wouldn't let me come in after a couple glasses of wine. I have severe dental anxiety and thought the wine suggestion was completely logical. Better than asking for a pill IMO.

Both? I get it though. If I were you, I may never want to go through that phase again.

sstwinklinglites That's tough. Have you discussed other options, like adoption or fostering? How does your H feel about TTC so soon? Even though I'm only 26, I second waiting for 2.0 until you feel ready.

30 is nothing! I'll be 35 this July, so my clock is def ticking. I'm waiting at least another year, maybe less we will see.

Those are all options. We want three of our own first. However, if it doesn't work out that way, we may be going that route sooner than later.
I'm turning 30 in May, & my age isn't a concern to me.
PS - PLL is starting in two min! (Squeals like a five yo).
I wouldn't worry about ttc. You didn't have trouble before sstwinklinglites. You shouldn't have trouble again. I am also in the- if I run out of biological time I'll adopt- train of thought though.
But I know a lot of folks having kids over 35 so I don't think of that as a cut off.

narbuckle01 I traveled a ton while bf-ing DS1. I usually brought home way more milk than he drank while I was gone. It's really not bad, I'd be happy to answer questions if you have any.
