What uuuuuuup??? It's not so much falling asleep for me, it's that I wake up at like 3 or 4 am half the time and can't get back to sleep until two hours later. Lame sauce.
Tonight DS has been puking and now dry heaving for over three hours. He falls right back to sleep but as soon as he changes position again (every 10-45 minutes so far), he dry heaves.
So I'm awake with a puke bucket in hand waiting ready to get him in a sitting position when needed.

ugh I hate getting into patterns like that. It's so hard to break the cycle.

This is my problem as well. The acid reflux keeps me up after a bathroom trip

Yuck! I'm sorry DS isn't feeling well! FX he feels better. Insomnia is bad enough, dealing with pukiness has to be the pits.

I'm up trying to figure out if I'm having real contractions. I hope not because I'm only 35 weeks. I had my other two at 37 and want to make it at least until then if not longer. I'm hoping this is a false alarm.
Ugh. A typical night: Don't fall asleep until around 2. Up at 4 with combination of needing to pee and extreme physical discomfort (whole body is sore, feels like my belly is going to rip off). Can't get comfortable from 4-6. Around 6:30 I'm starving, check blood sugar level and then eat breakfast. Within next hour get maybe 45 minutes sleep until alarm goes off to check post meal blood sugar. Curl back up and sleep 1.5-2 hours, until wake up needing to pee, in extreme discomfort, and hungry. Get coffee and try to do day.
All of this is on the couch, because it is more comfortable than the bed right now.

I have a hard time getting to sleep but after a few hours do finally go off. But then I'm back up between 3-5. I get back to sleep just in time for the alarm. Booo! My problem seems to be restless legs or just general discomfort.
Work worries woke me up at 4, it is 4:30 now and I got up to get some work done but there is something wrong with my hip and u can barely walk. Today is going to be fun

My biggest issue lately has been getting my belly comfortable. I have pillows everywhere, but it somehow still feels unsupported ando I feel some cramping from the round ligament area. I just end up flopping from side to side until I'm so exhausted I can pass out. And then the alarm goes off about 2-3 hours later.

Ditto all of this. I need to find a recliner somewhere to pass out in. I'm not above walking into a furniture store and doing that.

I had such a hard time sleeping last night. It felt like my stomach was contracting acid into my esophagus all night long. Worse heartburn I've had since being pg. and I agree with the acrobatics - my pelvis hurts so much it's agonizing to switch from left to right sides.
Does building a pillow mountain help with the reflux? It usually helps me
It helps some. What really helps me most is not eating or drinking too close to bedtime. But when I have a pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie and another of Phish Food vying for my love, who am I to say no?
Busy baby and a restless 2 year old. I was up from 3-5 but fell back asleep until after 7. Thankfully, neither of my kids are morning stars. Hopefully this one will follow suit!
Between the back pain, adeline waking up with teething pain and this baby head butting my bladder I haven't been getting much sleep lately. I don't know what I would do without coffee.

I'm waiting for the OB to call me back. The nurse had me lay down and drink 50 oz of water, but I'm still feeling crampy and now I feel sick. This was not in the plan for today. Second semester starts tomorrow and I'm not completely ready. Ugh, I need these contractions to stop!
I guess I've been having it pretty easy compared to most of you. I haven't slept through the night since about 20 weeks - pee and thirst are what wake me up at least 3 times a night. At least I've always had the talent to sleep anytime and anywhere. Although, I'm feeling a lot more pain this week, I always wake up with a firm and painful belly during bathroom breaks, I'm sure I'll be a proper member of the no-sleep club soon enough.
