Lots of feelings today as it was our IUI appt for this cycle. Our RE kept us waiting for an hour in the waiting room, giving PLENTY of time to worry/obsess/run out of appropriate small talk in that company. By the time we got called back we were close to 43hrs post trigger, and worrying it was too late. Then our RE (after the IUI was done) started to give us a speech about 'next time' thinking we'd been scheduled wrong since this time we were only doing one (we think he thought we were 24hrs after the trigger). Luckily, our coordinator was paying attention, and the once the RE heard we were at 42ish hrs, said we were right on! Thank god!! He explained that when he has very very low motility patients, later is better (within reason) and it's the same for thawed. But still, it was a roller coaster of an expensive 5 minutes, for sure.
Anyhow, I feel like we have a better feel for the timing now, which is good. The RE explained it well, so it calmed us down. We've spent the remainder of the day trying to relax, which was fun since we never get to do that together during the workweek.
Looking forward now to the weekend!!
(PS on a funny note, our RE upon walking into the room to do the IUI did a complete double-take, not expecting to see TWO girls in the room..not in a not used to same-sex couples way, though...but his expression was hilarious.)

I totally forgot to post my feels but I've decided it's not too late.
cetcar - Fingers crossed for you that this cycle results in a BFP and a healthy 9 months!!
I'm relieved for a weekend and pretty much year end at work. Our fiscal year ends in March and I'm totally ready to move into a new business year.
We met with out RE this week (I posted about it somewhere around here) and came up with a newish action plan so I am feeling excited for AF to show up (I know right?) so that I can get this baby making party (re)started!

I am late to this posting. I was MIA all weekend. We drove to Kansas on Friday for my nephew's wrestling tournament. He went to state and placed 7th so it was fun to watch. Friday I was feeling okay. I have had some horrible migraines lately. Almost passed out again on Saturday morning, not sure why this keeps happening, but luckily I didn't. It would have been very embarrassing to pass out at his tournament. I ate a ton this weekend, way more than I probably should have but I constantly felt hungry. Anyways, we had a great weekend, nice quality time with wife and nephew.
