My H(31) and I(27) have been together for going on 7 years now, married for almost 2 years. He's been ready for a baby for a while now but I had to be a little more convinced. (Ironman versus baby, decisions!) We're here now, there's no going back, and I am sooooo excited! I can't believe we got a BFP!
I tested the evening of 11dpo on a Wondfo and got a faint line. H wasn't convinced and then the morning of 12dpo with FMU I got what looked like a negative with an evap line. The day before I also gotten some bad news about my aunt who had a stroke the previous week, so I was complete mess between the news about my aunt and the confusing tests. H bought me some FRERs though and holy line! Super positive.
Hi all! My Husband and I have been married since August and have been together for four and a half years. We live in the PNW. I'm a teacher and he is a caretaker for people with disabilities and a bartender- the plan is actually for me to take three months off work and then go back full time and for him to stay at home with baby. Anybody else planning a similar situation? I've worked hard for my job, find it meaningful, truly love it (some days), and really like being a professional. He has never really clicked with a career path.
We found out at 11 dpo and I'm still having a hard time believing! I did not think I would be dealing with so much anxiety, but for some reason I find that I am having trouble not thinking negatively. I have no idea why. I'm excited - but keep tempering my excitedness with this voice that is saying "don't get too attached! this could turn into..." Sorry - I don't know if this thread is the place for that kind of admission, but there it is.
I was definitely a lurker on GKU, but I plan on being more active and posting more here. Excited to get to know everyone!

I guess it's time for a tentative intro! I just found out last Monday that I'm pregnant with #2. My DS is 18 months old, and his sibling is due 12/4/15. DH and I have been married since September 2012, and I am AMA.
As you can see in my siggie, I've had two CPs since July, hence the "tentative" in my intro. I'm super excited, but also really nervous...I am anxious to see things like good, climbing betas, and good strong little heartbeats.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Just got my BFP yesterday with #2. A big surprise, just like #1 (Clara, 20 months this week). I was a few days late, but am pretty irregular, POAS for peace of mind. I had HG with DD, so am a little nervous heading into this one. Nausea, cramps, cranky belly, and backache. Is it too early to have lightening crotch?
I am a reg on J13- the offsite board- post TB. Sometimes lurk BF here. I would be all about a checkin for BF while pregnant too. I did a med free birth with DD and am hoping to do an OOH birth this time! Almost 32. DH is a great dad and is so excited!
Due Date is 12/04/2015 based on LMP. I think I must have o'd really early so that might change a little.

My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years and married for 7. I am 33 and he is 35. We have one fur baby who is a Persian kitty, she is our spoiled princess. We are American expats who have now lived in Angola for 4 years, originally thinking we would only be here for 2-3 years. My husband is in the oil business and this country is an oil rich place, with every big oil company operating from here. It will come as no surprise that we moved here from Houston. I do not work anymore, I gave up my job to come here.
We started TTGP in June 2014 and yesterday was the first time I had a BFP. We had perfect timing almost every month (I was temping) for the last 10 months so we were really to the point that we thought we were going to need help. I had started to research places for testing in South Africa and was even contacting my insurance company to find out what coverage I might have overseas. I have now looked at my positive pee sticks more than a dozen times because I still can't believe it finally happened. I'm super nervous and excited!
I joined The Bump in Sept 2014 and transitioned over here when it fell apart. I'm mostly active on the GKU board but also post on International and Healthy Living. Being an expat can be lonely so I really enjoy having this site to connect with people and I look forward to building relationships with those of you joining this board.
I'm so happy to be having a December15 baby!! Due Date: December 4th
I'm nervously and excitedly going to intro here! A little about me:
- My husband and I have been together for 12 years, married for 6. - We started TTC #1 in June 2014, and this is my first ever BFP (holy shitballs!) - We have 2 adorable pets, a cat (who is my avatar) and a dog (who I'm sure I'll AW at some point on here) - I love quoting movies and all things gif related
When I call the doc, they will likely place my due date in late November based on my LMP, but I O late, so I figured I would hang here if possible?
I'm sure I'll have tons of questions in the coming days and weeks, but for now I'm just looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi ladies! H and I have been married for 2.5 years, together almost 7. We've been TTC since September 2013 and started testing and seeing a RE last fall. This was my first ever BFP on a surprise natural cycle!
I'm so unbelievably excited and scared at the same time.
Howdy! I had my first beta today and am finally comfortable enough to do an intro
My husband and I started NTNP right after we were married in '11 figuring we would end up with a surprise BFP. Nope, not even close. Apparently our bodies had other plans. After 6 months of actively trying we started seeing an RE this January. Our first medicated IUI cycle has dropped me here and we couldn't possibly be more excited/nervous. My EDD is 12/6/15.
I look forward to hanging out with all of you during this bonkers experience.

Welcome! That's a great check-in idea. I don't have any experience with this myself, but if you'd like to take it up or if anyone else wants to volunteer, I can definitely add it to the list.
Not sure if this helps any, but my SIL is pregnant with her 2nd, her first is 16 months, and she said she's been more sore/achy etc this pregnancy. Her doctor told her it's because she didn't have a long time between the 2. Maybe just see what your doctor thinks?
Yeah I think it is fairly normal for things to happen a bit quicker with subsequent pregnancies.
A bit about us... I'm 33, SO is 37. We've been together 3 years, and have a 20mo DS (for anyone doing that math, we didn't wait long... when you know you know? Thank goodness we were right, haha) and two sweet fur baby kitties (one is snoozing in my avatar). We started TFAS after DS's bday in August and got a BFP in September. That same month my mother was diagnosed with cancer. It was so hard to be so happy and so sad, but even more devastating when we lost the baby in November. 2014 can F right off. We started trying again in January after being cleared by my MW. Well, last week my mom's scans came back clear (yay chemo and surgery!) and this week I got a BFP. Thank you 2015, please continue to be awesome!
I am so happy to see some familiar faces and so excited to get to know some new ones Happy and boring 9 months to everyone!
EDD is Dec 2nd by LMP, but Dec 8th by O date, so we will go with that.

Hi all! I got my BFP last Wednesday and it's still sinking in. My H and I have been married for almost 8 years now. We have a 21 month old son. It took us years to get pregnant with him so I'm still in shock that this happened in 6 months!
I'm would love to participate in a breastfeeding while pregnant check in!
EDD from LMP is December 3rd. From O date is December 4th. My first appt is the 13th so I'll see what they say then.

Am I to reintroduce myself?
Hi, I'm chugging. Been around the bump boards for 7ish years. Fell off a bit during the last year.
I have an almost 8 year old, toddler chugging is 15 months (also a boy), and this baby has been NN'd 'Shedd' for the shed in which it was most likely conceived. (Shout out to j14 for name suggestions!)
Um.... I work full time. I live in the Midwest. I have allergies. I'm sad for my fridge of fun beers from vacation that I cannot drink.

I'm so happy to be having a December15 baby!! Due Date: December 4th
There is a gal on my j14 board that moved from Texas overseas as her husband is in the oil business.
Another intro. I've been active on 3T/Infertility and now on Pregnant after Infertility. My husband and I had been trying for our first since September 2013. We ended up with testing, then treatment including three failed IUIs before this round of successful IVF!
I'm extremely nervous given how challenging it's been to get pregnant, but also excited. My three beta tests have come back good with doubling every 48 hours, so now I go for my first ultrasound next week. If all goes well, it looks like a December 6 due date.
Thanks all and I look forward to getting to know you!

My husband and I have been together for 7 and 1/2 years, married for 3 1/2. I am 27 and he just turned 26. We have a daughter who had her first birthday last week so this pregnancy is a huge surprise for us. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works for a biomedical company.
I have irregular cycles and haven't had one for 3 months but have been testing. Tested on Friday and it was negative, tested today on the clear blue digital and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks so will schedule a doctor's appointment to see when my EDD is. A little nervous to have 2u2 but excited for our daughter to have a sibling.
Hi Dec '15!!! I am so happy to be here!!! Cake time!
DH and I have been together almost 9 years and married for almost 5. We have a little 3 1/2 year old girl who is our world. DH is 28 and so am I. I love penguins and ice cream if you can't tell from my avatar and siggy.
I am moving over here form GKU! We have been trying for 8 mths with one loss. I am hoping this is a take home baby.
Hi everyone! I'm coming over from GKU (didn't post a ton).
DH and I have been married for 5 years and we're both 27.
We've been TTC since December. I just got a BFP this morning so I'm still really unsure of what to do next. I thought this might be a good place to start.
Is it complete crazy to want to tell our parents this weekend when we see them??
*****Disclaimer ****Copied and pasted from my intro posted on the wall
This pregnancy comes as a complete shock and I am totally trying to wrap my head around it.
I will be 40 in June and my husband is 37, we have been together since 2011. We have an almost 2 year old daughter, who we decided would be our only child. My husband has an awesome daughter who will be 8 in May. She is the best big sister, her world revolves around her baby sister. She is Mother Hen when it comes to E.
I work for the City of New York and with my first daughter I took 18 months off to raise her and just returned to my job in September. I feel like a crappy mom already to this kid because I am not going to take as much time off.
My husband is a Foreman for a very large construction company and has been doing it for man years.
We just put an offer in on a new home but now because of this new addition we decided to rescind that offer and put up a modular where we currently live.
I know this is an amazing gift and even though this is not what I had planned for my latter years in life, this happened for a reason. I won’t lie I am scared to death to be 40 and having another baby.
Those sleepless nights were killer. My daughter started sleeping though the night at 16 months old. I can't do tat again.

I'm into'ing with a ton of apprehension. I have been married to DH for five years, together for ten. We have an amazing 16-month-old DD. It took two years of trying and surgery for endometriosis to get a BFP for her right before I was suppose to start BCPs for my first IVF cycle.
I lost my DS at 14 weeks pregnant right before Christmas due to a large cystic hygroma and T21. It was the worst time of my life and I'm shocked, but nervously excited to be expecting again. I'm hopeful this Christmas will be amazing and help ease the painful memories of last Christmas. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and sticking around. Due 12/5/2015 with what I hope and pray will be my rainbow!
