Speak For Yourself - the iPad app that PF is learning to use and that the author of Uncommon Sense is a huge proponent of will be 50% off ($99 vs $199) tomorrow only.
There are several other AAC apps that will be running similar sales in honor of Autism Awareness. atmac.org/waad-2015 to check out the sales.
I can only speak about Speak For Yourself - it's an amazing and adaptable app that uses motor planning as it's basis for developing communication. No more than 2 taps to get to any word that you want to "say." It holds over 14,000 words and other than the core words that are the basis of communication, you can add and delete whatever you want.
