1. How far along are you now? 20w4d
2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I had my endocrinologist appointment a few weeks ago. He changed some of the settings on my insulin pump and I think he changed my basal rate also. I've been running high ever since I saw him and no matter how much I carb count or how much I correct I keep staying high. For instance, 2 hours after breakfast my glucose was 158 so I corrected and checked 2 hours later and it was 172. I had nothing to eat in those two hours and only drank water so it makes zero sense.
Either my basal rate is wacky or I'm at the point in the pregnancy where my insulin needs are increasing which I heard would eventually happen. For the past week I've been running in the 200's on average and last night my pump was alerting me to a high and it was 289. Not good. I'm waiting on his office to call me back.
3. How are your symptoms? Meh. I have more energy and my acid reflux has subsided for the most part. I'm getting a lot of rlp lately which makes sense because I feel like my belly has really grown this past week.
GTKY: Who else dreamed last night about beheading B***Ma*- I feel like we should treat her like Voldemort, but I am less scared of Voldemort LOL! I had dreams about maxi pads...weird!
