You may notice the shiney new sub-board at the top. As it states, please post here for a password and we will pm it to you. This board is intended as a safe place for our members to have privacy to post things they don't want read by anyone on the Internet. As such, we will limit the password to people who have a minimum of 15 posts and are a generally recognized poster here (I.e. Not a reg from another board who only lurks here).
The main board will still exist as is for anyone to post as well.
So... I guess I stand alone in my opinion that the 15-post key to Narnia is needlessly complicated and seemingly pulled out of a hat. Anyway, I guess I need the password.
FWIW, I agree that 15 seems like an arbitrary number. I would have been more in favor of a cut-off date, but all in all I think the additional privacy will be good for the board. Don't beat yourself up. I would venture to guess that the post count won't matter much anyway. I doubt there are many within the 1-14 gray area.
I do agree, Books, but also think that the whole discussion and decided limits probably didn't change who everyone was comfortable "letting in" anyway. Or, what Jammers said. (Slow typer)
