Secrets and Lies on ABC-anyone else watch it?

Anyone watching Secrets and Lies?
What do you think?
I just started, and although I don't think the acting is so great, I'm hooked!  I can't wait for the next episode.
Anyone else?

I am. It's ok, I can't stand Juliette Lewis in it. Her acting seems like she recently had botox and cannot move anything on her face. But another reason I don't like it as much is I watched the Australian version first. Not sure if it was that much better (but I do think it was) but I think whatever version of something you watch first will be the one you just like better, usually. The Aussie one is on Netflix. I am quite certain each version has a different ending, and so far the American one seems to have jumped the shark IMO. That being said, I do watch it each week. I don't hate it and I am curious who the killer is.

I watch too, and Juliet Lewis's face also bothers me! She's so different! I'm curious about the Aussie version too now, will have to check Nflix!

Does/did anyone watch Gracepoint/Broadchurch? Gracepoint (American) aired last fall I think and was like a mini series, just one season.

Broadchurch is the British version (on netflix) but so far it looks like there is at least two seasons. I watched the American one first before I even knew another existed. Loved it! I'm kind of iffy on the british one....oddly enough the male lead detective is the same actor in both except he has a scottish accent in the brit one, and american in the american. Where the show is filmed obviously isn't the same but they're both small ocean side towns with lots of cliffs so with the same male lead and similar setting, it's like watching the exact same show with the other actors switched out. Kind of weird but kind of cool.

So far I like the american one better because again, I watched it first and just seem to lean toward that one, and also because I can't always catch everything everyone is saying with their accents, and I loathe the woman who plays the female detective in the brit one, she just annoys me. Overall I liked most of the american actors better.

But I am told the brit and the american versions both have different killers as well.
