WTF? Why is it when you don't need something, you see it everywhere, but when you need it, it is no where to be found. I'm trying to figure out our outfits for family pictures at the end of this month. Who knew finding a grass green cardigan would be so hard to find.

In typical narbuckle fashion... I got a great Debbie downer WTF. Got out clog #6 last night at 5AM. That is 6 in 10 days. Spent all day on the phone between docs/OBs and LC who just kept referring me to the other party. Ridiculous. There is a reason these clogs keep coming back. I have talked to 2 LCs now I just need someone to help me. So I finally got an apt with the OB tomorrow. FX they just give me the oral yeast treatment I am after which I am pretty sure will kill the underlying inflammation causing the clogs.
I had another emotional breakdown regarding all the clogs and pain. This time at work. Emailed my boss and said I can't take it. Luckily he is awesome and I am working from home the rest of this week. And DH stayed home from work last night to take care of us.
Ok, here is where it really gets good... Went to pick up LO from the daycare at 1:30 yesterday because my boob was so swollen it wouldn't fit in my flange. DC worker said "here is all the medicine, I didnt give her any because I didn't know what she needed". I'm like great no thrush or cold treatment for 5 hours. If you didn't know what she needed why the hell didn't you ask me her regiment instead of just saying ok when I hand you the bag?! Fast forward--I get her home. She has on two diapers and is soaking wet with pee. WTF. I am freaking out.
Fast forward again to this morning when DH calls the DC to get to the bottom of the situation. She was in two diapers because she had "diarrhea". She was wet because she was covered in her poop. They didn't change her because they didnt know I was on my way and I surprised them. The daycare provider blames it all on the fact that she was out of the center dealing with her mom who is dying. Yeah your mom is dying, that is sad, but you have a business to run. If Autumn was too sick to be there (she said her diarrhea was that bad) then you should have called me to come get her.
Then she said that she knew I would be mad about the whole situation but didn't get the chance to call me last night because she was dealing with family stuff. Again, you run a business, taking care of humans. You need to put those people first, or find someone else who can help you with your mom or the babies. I let her know we would no longer be using her services and I would come get Autumn's stuff today. She said "I thought that would be the case." So... the situation was so bad that she knew I would be mad, she knew that I would likely pull Aut out, and yet she still waited until I contacted her. I f*cking swear...
Sorry for the novel. Hope everyone enjoys reading a good story
That would be enough for me to pull my kid without notice and ask for a refund. Unfortunately, daycares know that it's hard to get other care quickly. So they effing suck ass. Make sure they know you are putting your name on another daycares waiting list and you will see how things go until your LO has a spot. If they have improved, you MIGHT stay.
narbuckle01 that is atrocious. I'd seriously consider reporting her to whichever agency licenses daycares. I'm glad you showed up unannounced and discovered what was going on. Here I go: WTF baby, why did you wake up every hour last night? I hope it was a fluke. But on the plus side, he was all smiles this morning.

I need you guys to dress me, again, for family pictures. I've picked out blue and green as our color scheme. H will be in blue polo with jeans/khacki's, M will be wearing this shirt with jeans/khacki's and I'm planning on doing dark jeans with a grass green cardigan over a white tee/tank with this scarf
Do you think my scarf pattern will be ok with M's plaid shirt or should I switch to a solid navy scarf?
I couldn't get the shirt link to open. The scarf is really cute, but I always avoid patterns in pictures. I have gargantuan boobs and don't want anything to make them look even bigger.

Oh she is out becole. There is no going back. I don't care that I dont have another daycare lined up yet. I will figure something else out... maybe MIL coming to stay with us again. Her health has improved and she was a GREAT help!

narbuckle01 **hugs** Take one day at a time. I would definately be finding a new DCP, asap. I would also be sure to let them know exactly why I was leaving, that whole siutation was completely unacceptable.
nachomomma What a cutie! Aslo, we have those same jammies, I hate how far apart the snaps are.

Two Diapers to correct diarrhea - wtf. My daycare will change the child's diaper and clothes 3 times in one day and give them a bath in the sink if they poop gets out too much- don't expect any less than what you would do in the same situation. It all comes down to the teacher. They need to use common sense.

I added a link to the bottom of my post with the shirt. I didn't think about my boobs (also gargantuan)... hmm

narbuckle01, OMG! You handled yourself very nicely. I an other hand would have flipped my f*** lid. I am shocked, time for me to plan another surprise visit to the DC. DH laughs at me that I plan weekly surprise drop offs and pick ups. It will all work out you seems to have a great boss who is understanding. mrscatfarmer13, I love that we get to style you, I need to check out the links.

narbuckle01 omg. I can't even. I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I would have flipped the fuck out! You handled it better than I would have. FX that you're MIL can help or that you find other childcare quickly! Oh, and that you get some answers on all of the clogs as well!!!

narbuckle01, I'm so glad you pulled her out right then and there! Is this a center or an in home? Makes you wonder what else they would have done that is unacceptable. Hopefully your mil can help until you find somewhere else. I'm blown away by everything you said. I also give you major props for hanging in there with all the clogs. That's a lot of work, mentally and physically I'm sure. Just keep swimming!
Here's DD learning to sit up, with minimal assistance!

Super jealous of the sitting, sometimes I think life would be easier if DD sat up.
And it was an in-home care. That is why I chose it! Small number of kids and not a crazy large DC. Boy was I wrong.
I just sat in on the round table for nursing mothers. This should have happened 10 years ago. The government should be leading by example, not awkwardly falling behind private sector in all work/ life family things. Luckily, we have an administration right now that is trying to get some of these things put in place- like 6 weeks maternity leave and a lactation policy.

Yay for progress. Even though private sector is typically better about these things than the public/gov sector, the gap is still pretty large on a global scale. I am excited this year my employer added 2 weeks of paid paternity leave to our leave policy. Again, yay for progress.
Yeah we shouldn't have to get so excited over small concessions that should be already given. But alas. Once this country determines that it's in its best interest to let moms and babies be together for the first year of life- we're fighting a losing battle. Plus, women have to actually be seen as a group of folks companies want to keep around. Plus, support in breastfeeding.

My company just went from two weeks paid parental leave to six weeks. I think companies are finally getting the message.
