I know everyone is different but I'm curious what you pump on a daily basis? I used to pump 32-35 ounces per day and now I'm lucky to get 24 oz. I'm not sure why my supply has declined so much. LO is 4 weeks today and I've been EP since she was less than 1 week old. This is the first dip I've noticed and now I'm worried my supply won't keep up with her.
The dip might be related to your cycle returning but it's probably early for that. Just make sure you are eating and drinking enough, are consistent with your pump schedule, pump to empty, etc. you could also consider using something like Mothers milk temporarily to try to boost up supply.
Mine is 3.5 months and it's been awhile since I recorded output on a daily basis, but 2 days ago I recorded 37.5 oz. if you EP, you want to make sure you're pumping at least 8x/day (til at least 9-11 weeks old) for a minimum of 20 minutes. That will help you to establish your supply for the longer run, if you plan to pump a long while. I'd also recommend fenugreek.

This. Making sure you get all your pumps in is the biggest key. Next to that, makes sure you're getting plenty of water and calories. I have a hard time eating and drinking enough on the weekends, and notice a drop on days I don't take care of myself.
I pumped 10ppd for the first month, 8ppd for the second month, the last two months I've been dropping pumps slowly. At about 10wpp I was pumping 60opd...which is why I started dropping pumps because I don't want to make that much and be that uncomfortable and leaky all the time.
I may hang at 3ppd for a while, but I have a very large stash that I still add to daily. I plan to wean from the pump entirely soon, just not sure when.

Seven weeks pp today; six weeks EPing. I pumped six times yesterday (every time LO ate) and got 53 ounces, which is about average for me lately. I had a couple of bad days last week when we were out of town. I don't think I ate, drank or slept enough and only got about 40 ounces those days. It's back to normal now that I'm home.

Sorry i had to chuckle... 40oz is a bad day?... You're lucky to make that much! I pump every 2 hrs all day long, i'm 5mpp and I never get more than 24oz total... You're REALLY lucky.

Yep, I definitely realize that and am thankful for my supply, even if LO's tongue and lip ties are so bad that he can't latch well, which is why we are EPing. In fact, I'm in the process of applying to donate a lot of my excess supply to a milk bank. But I would say that any sudden decrease of a dozen ounces a day is worrying. I'm glad it's back to (my) normal. The thread asked for a "normal" daily pump and I supplies my normal.
Thanks for the advice! I have gotten lax, dropping pumps and not pumping enough. I've gone to at least 8 pumps per day and 20 minutes per pump and have seen an improvement. Thanks again.
My LO is just 11 days old. I've been pumping at least 8x a day and to date, my highest production was 10oz in a day. It does seem to still be going up, my milk just came in a week ago. But still, this is very disheartening. I've done a "power pump" the past two days. Does my output seem normal for this point? What's an average output for a 20 minute session?

Your output may increase in the coming weeks. When I started I would only get about 10oz and now I'm up to 30oz. Also be sure to do breast compression while pumping to empty your breasts. Also not sure what kind of pump you gave but sometimes you elicit more than one let down during s session.
Thanks! Are you getting 30oz in the same number of sessions that you used to get 10oz in? I'm using the Medela PISA. Still getting used to all of this....
I'm almost 10 weeks postpartum and I only get 3-4 oz. a day total. So I'm jealous of everyone else getting 10 oz. or more a day. I have to supplement with formula which is not my preference, but with a super low supply it's the only choice I have. So frustrating. I have been doing everything I can to up my supply with no luck. Hang in there ladies. You all are doing great!
