I have been keeping up with my workouts. I was trying to double up this week, but I tweaked my shoulder and am having bad cramps this week so one is enough.
I've been better with eating healthier than usual. It helps that the weather has been so nice so we can grill chicken and such. And tonight we are having grilled shrimp. Yum.
Still need to get back to my running.
How is everyone else? Anyone getting into a good workout routine?
I was supposed to run five miles M-W-F this week (and by run I mean alternate running for three or four minutes and walking for two or three, because that's about all the running I can stand at one time!), but I had a killer headache yesterday. I did it today instead, but I don't know if I'll stick to the plan and run again tomorrow or not... That 10K is a really good motivator in the short term, but I don't know what happens when that's over with.
"But what if I'm pregnant by then?" thinks my brain. Although I was pretty sure when I registered for this one I'd be pregnant by race day, so that's probably not a good line of reasoning...
Oh muirmaid I've had the same thoughts...and I keep signing up for races. I need the races to keep me motivated. Just running outside by myself is not always enough to keep me running often. I signed up for two in October, even though I really hope to be KU by then
