So im sorry for posting this twice..
Little Back Story: My mom has MS. she has officially been diagnosed for the past 28.5 years, but the Doctors think she has actually had it since she was in high school possibly college. (she is 64, sorry for the age drop mom, ILY!!) well she is in town since my sister is delivering twins at sometime this week. And whenever she is in town she goes to see her MS doctor because he is the Head of Neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins. She just told me that her type of MS has been upgraded from Relapsing-Remitting (which is the best kind to have, if you have to have it) to Secondary-Progressive MS.
Thankfully the disease CAN NOT kill her, it can put her in a wheelchair permanently but it cant kill her. We knew that this day would come eventually that she would get upgraded just didn't think it would happen for another few years (rather hopped it wouldn't happen for another few years) If everyone who is still here could please send some positive vibes her way that she can get past the mental block that her body is failing her even more then it all ready is that would be fantastic. She is taking the news as good as can be expected and her Doctor is changing her medicine, to a new drug that should actually help to repair some of the Myelin that has been destroyed by the illness so far. My mom is my rock, and has been through so much (loosing both of her parents at an early age, (She was 40 when her father passed, and 47 when her mother passed) I know its not super young but still young.
She is on her way back to my sisters now (where she is staying) and will get some extra cuddle time from my nephew which is always a plus, but I know its killing her on the inside and mentally it is going to make her slip back into a mild case of depression. Sorry for the rant, and thanks for the positive vibes in advance.
